Those who have been to both schools talk about how isolated TAMU is compared to UT being in Austin. They have said that life at UT is more open than at Texas A&M. TAMU has often been rated as having one of the most if not the most conservative student bodies.

I have. UT Austin is the best of the public schools in my opinion.
