Tha truth.

They have not ventured out of their element in 3 years when that 3A school in Seattle tore their arses out and ended their streak.
And I still say they don't want to see anyone in the top 25 from Texas on back across the Mississippi.

I just don't see them as that good on TV.

Oh well.................South Panola has moved up to #13.
Going for #59.

Last week against Jackson Provine was a Defensive slugout against 2 teams that are gonna run until you drop.
 
Stagg they had to come from behind to beat Clinton and they have to play Olive Branch at their house again. Last Score was 12-7 SouthPanola. Olive Branch turned the ball over 6 times that game three times going in for the score. If they can elimiante or cut those turnover in half they will beat them.

I'll have my ticket and I'll be sitting dead center come Friday. OB beat NW Rankin 34-20.

It amazes me they never give GA teams any love on these polls. I dont know how on earth they could never rank Lowndes County or LaGrange High even though both have won national championships. I guess because they dont play out of state teams.

Not sure but how did OB have to travel to NW Rankin and they were the Higher Seed #2. Maybe they're trying to break that streak. :swink: :swink:

Not True........De La Salle blasted Louisiana Evangel Christian in 2003 when they were ranked in the top 10. USC current quarterback Booty left EC early which played a slight roll but De La Salle had a team full of I-A bound players and handled their business.

The game was scheduled with this guy in mind (John David Booty) but he left for college early because of school politics that landed his father who coached there for many years out of the coaching ranks. LA. Evangel has not been the same since.

Booty leaving was MAJOR because they ended up using a QB who had barely played. If Booty had been there Evangel probably would have won.

Maybe EC would have won, but I saw that game. And, De La Salle had some serious horses. Put it this way, I would have not bet my money on that game.

St. James (district foe of Curtis) seems to be gearing up for the rematch in the 2A state title game. St. James gave Curtis the toughest test losing 19-6 earlier this year.

If Curtis is #3 in the nation, many in the River Parishes districts are top 25 material too.

I agree St. James is definately top 25 material. I think St. James can pull off the upset.

I don't know if you missed it but this year Curtis took down at the time, the #1 team in the nation Alabama Hoover. I want to see them go west and play Lufkin and Carroll. Of course that powerhouse running back want be their next year..........I think his last name is McKnight.

Those boys from Reserve have been good to the Yellow Jackets (with Kerry Watkins and Greg Gathers -- two All-ACC selections and GT record holders).

ESJ is tough. Off topic, but I still believe when Saban started recruiting the River Parishes - this has been the difference for LSU being a contender.

I saw the 2nd half, Curtis looked faster. Hoover was soft. Curtis would beat them 10 out of 10.

Curtis has a way of making people look like that. About 2 or 3 weeks prior to that game, I saw Hoover simply dismantle USA Today Top 25 Oklahoma Tulsa Union.
