UFC....Rampage Jackson knocks out Iceman Liddell for the UFC Title

The problem that boxing has is people don't watch the "normal" fights anymore. Everybody watches 2-3 matches a year on PPV, and base their opinion on boxing from those few fights. Great matches happen all the time, if you bother to watch all the fights shown on HBO, Showtime, ESPN, ESPN2. And there are a lot of boring MMA fights. Ground and pound can be very dull when the man on the ground is great defensively.

I will say that there some good Boxing matches that rarely get any airtime that are good and the decisions are fair and right. But how many times you see them want to move a guy up the ranks and give him decisions that he do not deserve? Like Oscar over Sweetpea and Quarte because he is marketable and has the look to make money, no matter if he really lost both of those fights, or I saw Vargas on HBO get a decision over Winky just because he was the HBO Guy that they wanted to move up the latter when we all saw Winky winning the fight. I am sick and tired in Boxing seeing decisions that take 20 minutes to decide when we all saw who won a particular fight and it should take only 5 minutes because they are FIXING UP THE DECISION TO EITHER TO STEAL THE FIGHT FROM THE WINNER OR MAKE IT CLOSER THAN WHAT IT WAS. At least UFV, Pride Fighting or International Fighting League they are real and the decisions are real and honest. The ground fights are not as boring as you think because the guy on the ground gets up sometime and reverse it and ends up winning the fight anyway. Get rid of the crooks in Boxing like King and Aram and then maybe Boxing will be great to watch again. We also all know that Jermaine Taylor lost both fights to Hopkins and the one to Wright and you say boxing is great. This is why Boxing is bogus and I rather watch UFC, Pride Fighting and International Fighting League.

UFC still has matches with questionable decisions, like the Forrest Griffin/Tito Ortiz fight from last summer. There are some "ground and pounders" who fight like "Lay and prayers", basically getting on top and praying they win on a decision.

Rampage did a great job against Chuck, and is really a great fighter when motivated. In the lead-in to the fight, Chuck sounded awfully strange during interviews, and overconfident.
