UAPB VS. GRAMBLING: WHAT DU YALL THINK?


First and foremost don't think that simply because UAPB won the game that you have done something.... besides you caught us in the middle of rebuilding a TIGHT squad. This is the type of stuff that people send out when they are glad that they are beating someone and might have a chance to visit B'HAM for a chance in December when your school is normally at home getting ready for Christmas...Now, as for the band I am a 98 graduate of Grambling and I have seen the band good days and bad. I need you to understand that in no way, fashion, or form can you compare UAPB band to our band. Now, there were times when I complained about the band when they deserved it. You'll find that we try and not go all OUT for simple schools such as UAPB. I must agree with SWAC99 UAPB you are really NOTHING in the eyes of the SWAC. When people talk about SWAC school rarely would someone mention anything about UAPB simply because you really don't exist....Now, as I close I will TELL you this don't think for a minute that because UAPB is in first place that your school is all of that. Remeber you are close to being a NON EXISTENCE school in many people eyes from the SWAC, so you are not a threat. It is unfortunate that you are having a good season with alot of programs either building or possibly having coaching problem.....So, I say to you DON"T HATE !!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, Okay, Okay.....most of my friends are in the World Famed Tiger Marching band and in defense of them I have to say that everyone can drill the World Famed about how they think they should sound but until you become part of an organization you don't know the technicalities of it. First of all, during the 5th quarter GSU had to play whatever is called.....they called "Eye of the Tiger," so they played it. Secondly, just because they do not blast when they play doesn't mean they are not playing. True enough UAPB had some sound but they were wrong. I still don't understand why the refs didn't penalize them on several occassions. What some of you don't know is that there are new rules in the SWAC. Technically, a band is not supposed to play unless their team has the ball, and all of you at the game very well know that UAPB played just about the whole game. GSU has a classy band, and they chose not to interrupt UAPB, yet everyone is out to get Grambling. All I ask is that you know what you are talking about before you go putting your thoughts on the net.

I WILL TELL YOU WHY THEY DIDN'T PENALIZE US BECAUSE RIGHT BEFORE THE BALL IS IN PLAY THEY CUT THE SOUND TO VOICES AND ONCE THE BALL IS BACK IN PLAY THE BAND STARTS PLAYING AGAIN, I DON'T RECALL A RULE AGAINST THAT......... IF IT IS LET ME KNOW.....

Now let me say this... We are not hating and stop coming up with all of these dayum excuses on why this and why that nobody gives a rat azz. As for the game and the deal between the bands dude just face it you guys lost... I don't ever recall you guys being so soft spoken when you was sweeping through the conference beating the sh*t out of people but now that things aren't going the way you think they should go you find some lame azz reason as to why, SAVE IT.

p.s. I don't want you to think your school is all of that, first off people come to Grambling because of what they heard it use to be like not for what it is today, because we all know you guys are only a string of rice from being boarded the freak up, so before you try to down THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT PINE BLUFF make sure your end is covered ok.... and the fact still remains we beat your azz!!!!!!!!!!!:nod2:

one person stated that they only heard trumpets and b-tones ( was it because they have the meodly)
no grambling doesn't blast all over there horns there just an outside concert band that what a marching band suppose the be in my eyes i don't want to listen to nosie i want to be able to grove to the songs that what Grambling's band allows you to do
