U. of Memphis to Revisit Athlete Admissions Policies in Response to Article

The University of Memphis plans to revisit its admissions policies for athletes in response to a recent Chronicle article detailing the academic path of a fifth-year senior who started college with severe reading challenges.
Shirley Raines, the university’s president, has established a committee of faculty members to design a study that will evaluate the current admissions and evaluation process, she told the Commercial Appeal, a local newspaper.
