Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail

I think that's already been through here........

Yep, the missus just called and I asked her. She went and said it was funny!

Enjoy!!! let us know how you liked it!

It's a must see!!! I saw it this past weekend in Memphis! I have to give this brother his props!

Also, Finest Jag, I know you will love the eye candy that is provided for you in the play.

I saw it already. It was cool but the writing, to me in the play, was lacking, they did a whole lot more singing and story wasn't developed that well.

So was Ms. Cora and Mr. Brown in this one too? I wanted to see this one so bad, but I had too many things going on this past weekend........,

I'll be attending the one here in Dallas next year.

I'm sure the DVD will be here before the actual play arrives. lol

When I saw it earlier this year the only one in it from the other plays was Tyler Perry. They had all new folx and one of Toni Braxton's sister was in it also.

I saw this play a while back. Some of the actors forgot their lines & Tyler checked them on it too. Those were the funniest parts. :D

I thought it was pretty good but I?ve been culturally starved since I moved back here. :smh:

It's coming....:jump:

They're already advertising the play, here in Dallas. It's not until next year, but tickets went on sale last friday. :what:

Anyone plan on attending, in your city?

We went to see it back in October. It was my first time seeing his plays live. It was indeed a treat! I agree with the story line not being quite developed, but it was till very entertaining!

I bought four tickets to see it in Birmingham on Sunday Nov.27th 2005 3:00p.m. show. Maybe the actors will have their lines right by the time I see it. $200.00 is a lot of money.

Tyler Perry is a creative guy. I saw a clip of one of the early plays in the Madea series...but that is a much as I could stand.

I just don't go for watching guys in drag. Find a woman to play Madea and call me back.

I saw it too. I really didnt care for it. Throughout the entire play Tyler came in and out of character. Lines forgot. It just seem completely thrown together and it was the next to the last night for the play. But they had some fine brothers in it!!!! :ebrow:

I'm really surprised to hear about the forgetting lines stuff...I've never really noticed that before, in any of his other plays. Those plays were always well put together, to me. **shrugs shoulders**

Well the one I attended was being recorded for the DVD, so the lines were on point for the show I saw. He did come in and out of character here and there, but it was a nice play.

No, Cora and Mr. Brown were not in this one. It's been out for a while so they had their lines down. I don't recall one of the Braxton sisters, but Cheryl Pepsi Riley was in it. Either way, they provide unlimited comdey!

To an extent, the forgetting the lines kind of adds to the play I think. It's all in comedy. I'll try to see it at some point, whether it be in person or dvd.

They didn't when it came to Houston after Saniyya saw it. I think that may be part of the act...who knows.. but it was funny as hell when Madea checked them.
