I am also glad I didn't get involved with this baby momma drama stuff either. Sometimes I wish I had a kid, then I hear the war stories I am glad I kept my penis covered up. :lol: Safe sex paid off for me. :tup:

Just an FYI. Tyler Perry's father isn't dead and lives in Greensburg, LA (St. Helena Parish) just about an hour or so northeast of Baton Rouge. He built his dad a nice home which sits on a hill in this rural part of the state.

FYI, the Legislature changed the name to the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services a few years ago. Also this legislation will have to add the Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals since the Office of Vital Records is under their jurisdiction and they manage birth, death and paternity information.

From what I've seen, they should change their name to the Louisiana Department of Unfit Mothers, since they only care about mothers, while the children and families in the State are a complete mess.

No matter what they change their name to, it is my opinion that it would be in their best interest to require mandatory DNA testing at birth, unless they see it as a way of eliminating some of their jobs/caseloads in the future. With mandatory DNA testing, I guess they wouldn't need to hire individuals for investigative services, since they would already have most presumed fathers DNA.

I would not be hurt at all because my dad may have had his flaws but he took care of me!!! My mother is still alive so I would not be angry. I was not abused at all.

That's something I've never had to worry about. My father and I look alike. Act alike. The same is true for my daughter. There's no doubt that I'm her father.

However, if I was in a situation like that I'd probably lose a lot of respect for my mother. And the guy too despite whatever he had done for me. I just don't believe parents should lie to their children about things like that no matter what the circumstances were surrounding the child's birth. Finding out something like that would seriously damage my relationship with both my mother and the guy.

I never understood how a parent could abuse their children and I'm not trying to...
