Tyler Perry is an example why DNA testing should be done at birth.


Sickening.

To not only lie to your child about the identity of his father, but to allow a man that is not his father to abuse him.

Some of these women are just .... :shame:

For whatever reason, I know several women in Louisiana that would rather lie to their child then tell them the truth.

What really pisses me off is how do you let a man who is not your child's father abuse your child?

I really don't know the answer to why they do it, but they do it, which is why the Louisiana Department of Social Services should be sponsoring a bill to make DNA testing mandatory at birth for all newborns.

This happens more than not with our older generations. They will take those things to their graves rather than tell the truth....
 
It explains a lot actually...he could never figure out why she would allow the beatings, not stand up for herself and go back. I'll bet she got pregnant and he was the one who married her to cover the fact up...and she paid from that point on...he may have been the dude liking her but she liked and got pregnant by somebody else...and her and her kid paid because he felt he'd done so much...:smh: Fugg that...But either way, I'd dig that motherfugga up and drag his coffin down the road if he abused me as TP swears he did him....:uzi:
 
Just speculating, but if she was involved with the non-father and he was supporting her, whether he thought the kid was his or not. If, after he finds out he's not the father, the abuse begins, then that might explain where it started. But if she remained in the relationship because she couldn't provide for herself of her family, then she chose to subject TP to the abuse. It's a truly sad situation...

And it's not all the un-common. I've heard similar stories where men abused children that they didn't father, or preferred their own children over the others. Kinda like how pride male lions kill the offsprings so the females go into estrus again (so they can mate). Maybe nature just didn't intend for certain males to raise another male's offspring...

I have heard stories where mothers abused children because they did not like the father or their children...
 
Also they abuse them because they do look like the father. I am willing to bet that if 60% of the folks in America took a DNA they would not have the fathers who they think they got.

I am not sure at this point what prompted Tyler Perry to do a DNA test with his brother, however, he did a DNA test and he found out that the man he believed all his life to be his father really wasn’t his father. The man that abused him for years wasn’t his father. He said that his mother knew all these years and didn’t tell him. I think what could be even more difficult is that he can’t ask his mother why due to she has passed on. Tyler Perry said he is ready to move on and find his real father. He encouraged parents to be honest with their kids and let them know what the truth is and to not keep family secrets. I hope that it all works out for him in the end.

I was up close and personal with a similar situation. My ex-wife mother never told her who her father was. Me ex harbors major animosity towards a man she don't know and who may not even know she ever existed. I always told her she should get to the truth but she wouldn't have it.

This is not the first time he has come forward with details of his turbulent childhood. In a 2010 interview with Oprah he opened up about the details of the abuse from his father and other adults in his life. After his mother's death, Tyler took a DNA test with his brother, which revealed that they did not have the same father. He then took a test with Perry, Sr., confirming what he already suspected.

Perry says the search for his real father continues.

Dated a girl from a similar situation. She had issues. She we haul off an slap me randomly. I was raised not to hit women but it took everything in my power not to strike that girl (I picked her up and shook the hell of out her one day).

That's real sad when a man gets blame for something that he has no knowledge of. I assume Tyler Perry's mother was a teen mother. Most teen mothers don't realize the hardship and damages they have created in their own children lives just be lying to them at birth.

It seems like people like Tyler Perry should be allowed to sue the State of Louisiana for allowing the wrong man to be placed on their birth certificate as their biological father without substantial proof. In 1969, they State could have done a blood test.

This happened to a dude I grew up with. Thought child was his, found out it's for his frat bro.
