Position 1: Test Engineer

Job Description:



Test Engineer- will be responsible for support to Engineering development activities such as designing test procedures, writing and maintaining documentation, and performing product testing. Testing may include Environmental and EMI. The Test Engineer will be responsible for, and tasks associated with, assimilation of new designs into pilot production.



· Support Design for Test (DFT) analysis for new designs

· Assemble and debug engineering prototypes

· Support special test equipment management activities

· Interact with Design Engineers to become familiar with design and software used in product

· Learn overall system from block diagram down to component level

· Develop enough knowledge of product to train and assist pilot production personnel with assembly and testing

· Provide technical support to production and customers

· Associates Degree in Science/ Technology or equivalent work experience

· 10+ years of engineering technical support experience preferred

· Must be able to operate and prove proficiency with all types of GPETE (General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment) to include DVMs, Oscilloscopes, and Logic Analyzers, Photometers

· Ability to interpret schematics with digital and analog electronic circuits

· Must be able to debug to the component level

· Familiar with design guidelines for automated in-circuit and functional test techniques

· Good command of the English language and proper grammar for technical writing

· Ability to interact with software and hardware designers during product development

· Must be able to distinguish between product and test equipment problems



Position 2: Sr. Test Engineer

Job Description:



· Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing EMI qualification testing of military and commercial avionics products.

· Duties include preparation of test plans, procedures, and reports.

· Coordinate and conducting testing both in-house and at independent test facilities.

· Assist in the investigation of test anomalies and failures to determine corrective action

· BS in Engineering

· Expert in MS Word, Excel and Project

· 5 years of directly related experience

· Experienced in EMI testing to MIL-STD-810 and/or DO-160

· Experienced in the operation of EMI test equipment

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Familiarity with environmental testing to MIL-STD-461 is highly desirable

· Experience with Pro/E, ANSYS Workbench a PLUS
