BP, again if this kid is really being recruited by KU and OU and he has good grades and qualifies then he aint coming to PV. But knowing you, you aint telling the whole story. This kid must have some real strong ties to PV to tell KU and OU to take a walk. I mean this is basketball we are talking about. Not football. Why in the world would a kid pick any SWAC bball team over Kansas or OU? If his goal is to get to a National Championship and go to the NBA. Last time I checked, Lindsey Hunter was the last SWAC bball player drafted. And I am sure if he had got the same hype as his HS Mc Donald's All-American running mate got at Murrah High in Jackson then he would have been at a big school instead of going to Alcorn only to transfer to JSU. I applaud PV for going after the kid, but don't hold your breath. Hell , yall don't even know how long Jerry Francis is going to be there. Another good year at PV and he is history. PV is just a stopping point for him.
Let you tell it, PV got him locked up in a 10 year deal though. Back to Cador. If he can't coach, then how is it that he has won consistently in the SWAC. Even when JSU and GSU had great baseball teams in the 80's. You will say anything to prop up PV . That is sad. Cador has way more connection than your former HS baseball coach who took Forest Brook to the playoffs. I give him credit for that. But it aint like the man is on Cador's level. Our players play all year round in various baseball leagues due to Cador's connections. His friendship with LSU AD Skip Bertman has also helped. You do remember him right? You know the man who constantly kicked the ish out of Texas teams loaded with Texas players. SMH @ your logic that only Texas has any talent. Aint like yall going to get them anyway.
