Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker critically injured in motorcycle crash in Miami-Dade, police say - NBC 6 http://bit.ly/257GZgI

Walker, 23, was involved in the crash at Northwest 21st Avenue and Northwest 75th Street, Miami-Dade Police said. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, police said.
 
A year ago, Tray Walker was fighting to make the NFL. Today, the former Texas Southern star is fighting for his life.

Walker, who just completed his rookie season with the Ravens, is in critical condition after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Miami, according to NBCMiami.com.

"Walker, 23, was involved in the crash at Northwest 21st Avenue and Northwest 75th Street, Miami-Dade Police said. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, police said."
The Ravens selected Walker in the fourth round of last year's NFL Draft.

I pray for complete recovery for this young man. Found, they should include banning jet skis, water skiing, [snow]skiing, & rodeo'ing [bronc/bull riding]. Bikes aren't dangerous per se' but rather when some do dangerous things on them, like riding a dirt bike w/ nobby tires on asphalt @ night. That is indeed dangerous. :(

Makes no difference....if an investor wants to protect their investment they would do it.

It's been a practice for teams to write in a player contract that they aren't allowed to be involved in risky activities.

I know current ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Williams had it written in his pro contract with the Bulls that he couldn't ride motorcycles. Yet he ruined his career in a motorcycle accident after his rookie season.
