The Bayou Classic may be headed to Atlanta. Maybe next time houston. And for the record, the Bayou Classic Chairman met with Houston city officials PRIOR to meeting with SU and GSU officials. Stay tuned..... :D

1. WHERE DO MOST FANS COME FROM THAT REPRESENT AT THE BAYOU CLASSIC?

2. WHAT DOES ATL HAVE THAT HOU DOES NOT?

3. WHERE ARE MOST OF THE RELOCATED PEOPLE LIVING FROM THE NO?

4. HOW EASY IS IT GOING TO BE FOR PEOPLE WITH NO MONEY TO TRAVEL TO ATL VERSUS HOUSTON?

5. WHERE IS THE LARGEST ALUMNI FOR BOTH SCHOOLS HOUSED (HOUSTON/ATL). :lecture:
 
Houston has too much going on in the city that weekend, with the LDC and the Texans games on friday and sunday. Atlanta here we come.... :wavey:

Man it is so lovely to be a native Houstonian and see the largest city in the south/4th largest city in the nation host this many BIG GAMES :love: :love: :love:
I will take in many of those games :D
 
If the Bayou Classic isn't played at Reliant, is there any chance that the PV/TSU game time will change? Since I will be in Dallas on Thanksgiving, I would be delighted to not have to leave at 7:00 a.m. to get back to Houston in time for our Classic.

As far as the Bayou Classic goes, IMO, it would be nice in the wake of all that's happened, that if the game couldn't be played in Louisiana, that Houston could have the opportunity to be the host city for the game. However, if the fans don't want to be here, then no amount of arguments will make this a pleasant experience, so why not be where they're happy.

I haven't seen this much fuss about location since the Baseball Championships...:rolleyes:
 
I think most fans have no problem with it being in Houston. It is just that the ones against it are the squeakiest wheels.

Right. Everybody at school has just assumed that it is going to be in Houston.
 
If Atlanta can pull a trick out its hat and get the Bayou Classic, I'll go home for Thanksgiving and come back that Friday for a very big Bayou Classic weekend in Atlanta!
