im SUprised at the amount of BR folks that's going to the first game. It might affect some, but for the most part folks will be there.

You're right. Folks will be there and it won't hinder attendance. Many of y'all move to Texas the same day of graduation anyway.

I don't think you realize the amount of BR folks that travels to H-town for that game. It's going to affect alot of people, especially those who have kids playing sports or can't get off, but the Nation will be in the building

Some still will. The old heads will definitely make it. No pre game parties at the host hotel this year. LOL. But I imagine the younger Jags will be affected or folks who had planned to work all day on Friday. Some folks still would roll down I-10 West on early Saturday.

I am about to pull a band fan. LOL. Isn't that time of year getting near HS football playoffs? What about in La?

Playoffs start that next week because Lab's last game of the season is 11/8 @ Kentwood.

Not just BR folks. Other SU folks along that I-10 corridor and even some of the folks from Dallas come down. It will impact attendance some.

Good move.

I'm actually glad the game is moved to Friday night now.

At least we didn't move the game to Baton Rouge and claim "Christmas came early".

You know Big Worm and company are going to add a couple of more TDs to the arse kicking C-Leb. It is just the principality of it.:D

That's rivalry week in Louisiana. I was thinking about going to East Feliciana vs Northeast( The country Bayou Classic) and then heading to H-town, but that's out now.

Right. I know my Pops and the Blue and Gold Century club now have to adjust the bus schedule to accommodate this.

why couldn't the soccer team move their game to 7-7:30 Saturday night and TSU play around 11- 12 in the morning, TSU needs SU to show up in big numbers because they don't have 5 fans to rub together !!

I guess the playing surface or something. It could have been at 1p.

you know how anal pro teams are about their grass and their facilities?

Guess I have to cheer for the Dallas team for a Saturday game :emlaugh:

I know someone from Grambling is not talking about fans showing up to a football game?

O yes I am, Grambling has outnumbered TSU every time I been to Houston, Grambling has more fans in Texas than PV and TSU combined. Grambling plays in the 2 of the top 5 games in the Conference. WE DON'T HAVE TO MOVE GAMES, BECAUSE WE HAVE OUR OWN STADIUM!! yall can't draw 10000 people in a metro area of 4 million +
