Go PB!!
They acting fool today. Me "No one say another word." They know what that means. Yet bro' has to say something. I send him out. He says "You gone make me kick your MF ass."

I followed him down and told the administraton that he will NEVER sit foot in my room again.

They gave him 10 days OSS.

Should I raise a stink. (I know what I am going to do but I want your view. If enough of you say, maybe I will not walk out when he walks back in 10 days.)

He definitely sounds like he needs educating, that's the bad part. I can't say either way, but I believe in managing people, not allowing them to mess up my plans. So if he's just ratting off at the mouth and not a threat, keep trying to push some education in his need-some head. If you think things will actually pop off, hold your ground. But walk out? Not unless I felt completely vunerable. Put your concerns on paper and make the school accountable for their actions.

Easy. Suggest they move him to the GED track (if there is such thing as that) or that he get his GED and be done with it. Actually, that sounds like what they should have done already. 18 with 10th graders...definitely works on his self-esteem. Might as well have DUMB tattooed on his forehead. Good luck.

See I do not flow like that. You will stay in a child's place or you get the F away from me. As I told him each of the four times he sayed he wanted to kick my ass "You need to get started". Once he said it after I walked to the door. I told the VP I need to add more to the referral, which means i had to stand next to the kid. I then told him. There is nothing I need to add. I just wanted to give you the chance to kick my ass if you feel the need.
 
Before you do whatever you do and after you do whatever you do...DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT.

Be careful.
 
Dude feed your family. Don't let a soon to be convict make you look for another job. It's not worth it.

He just started coming to school. I had a conference with his grandmom last week. She had been dropping him off at the front door, but he never made it into the building.

18 Oooooo HELL NAW stay firm tell them(administrators) that you do not want him back..... That shi* burns me up when they let these kids get slap on the hands.... Answer this what is OSS????? we call is IN School Suspension.
 
Be very cordial when he comes back in. He's expecting you to go off on the deep end when he gets back from his lil vacation. But everytime he wants to act a fool send him out. If he comes in with a new attitude I wouldn't say anything about but I don't know the whole situation.

If I walk out, it is only to the principal's office and TELL yes tell him to come get the kid out. I have it like that for some reason. I think it is because he knows I am better at his job than him. He gives me no static. I could handle this through him now.

Does he have a history of such behavior with you? I don't think he should remain in there, because it sets a precedent of disrespect.

The bad thing about this is the administrators will tell you not to send him down anymore!!!! There is so much that goes with working in these schools.:smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

Forget cordial. His days in my room are over. Also, I teach in an alternative school. His ass is here for drugs, assault, attempted murder, hitting a teacher or something like that.

The F if the give him In School Suspension. I may settle down after 10 days of Out of School Suspension, but the heck if he stays here.
