do we get to determine draft order?

If so, I think we should use last year's results as the determining factor. (since the vast majority of us are the same owners from last year)

1st place get 1st pick
2nd place get 2nd pick
etc.
and on down the line to Suge (15th place with the 15th pick) :lol::lol:

actually, the new owners should go last since they're new.

I think we should just go with the randon lottery picks. I don't deserve to pick last because Dvaid Boston got hurt and because that lame sight Sandbox ranked the likes of Jeff Blake as great QB!! Kiss my arse Larry Graham!!

OK I've been out of town for a few days and just got back. All invites have been issued. We may have one problem, see the message on the ESPN board.

On the live draft, I don't think we can all get there at a set time and do a real draft. Can you give up about 3-4 hours at a prescribed time and have all your draft info ready to go at that time. I know it would be interesting to do, but I'm not sure.

That might be difficult to do! Although you have to admit a live draft would be off the hook!

If you supposedly really that smoove, your draft position would not be an issue.
 
A live draft ain't that hard. If you don't participate, the computer will select for you, just like it would in an automatic draft. The difference is, those that participate pick their own. I did a live draft once and it was fun. Sitting there watching the selections, praying the guy i wanted would be available. We got about 2 minutes to make our picks. And those that didn't participate, the computer picked for them.

As for jag77..... I think he's havin computer problem. I'll have a talk with him sometime this week. :)

Tell him he needs to get with me so I can get him in this league. His team and Sting's will possibly be team 15 & 16 since they are from last year and missed the other emails. But I need to get them the info and their funds asap.

Another way to do a draft

Group,

Another way we can do a draft is by email. I don't know if ESPN supports this feature but we can do it through regular email. It will take about 7 to 10 days. What we can do is on a given persons turn, they email everyone their pick. . Each person should be give up to 12 hours to make a pick. That just means everyone should be able to check their mail about once every day.

Another way we can do it is hold the draft in the private room of this message board. Same as email except person would post htier pick as a reply thread. We can then some up each round with an individual messages that list the 12 to 16 picks of that round. Obviously with 16 teams up to 16 rounds of picking that would be around 256 messages. I dont know if the message sever could handle this.

Maybe someone could come up with a similar idea, but I see this as the most effective way to have a live draft.

By then I will also have a tool that will some up what players have been picked and what playes have not been picked. I could issue that by email every three rounds. It will be an adobe acrobat file.

Dawg! I don't know what to do?:confused: This **** wont let me log on Fantasy Football. I keep getting an error message.(NULL ELEMENT) Can u tell me WTF that means. :mad: I sat at this DAMN computer for hours.
 
Either do it live(my personal choice) or do it automated. Nobody has time for 7-10 days with what we all do.
 
Well......let's do a live draft on Sunday (16th) around 9 p.m. EST. If everyone is prepared we could be done in 3 to 4 hours. Also if you stop participating I believe the computer will go ahead and draft based on your predetermined draft order.


Also Fiyah, why dont you just draw our draft positions out of a hat. I would like to know mine before I do a lot of my predrafting.

If so you can use it, if not register for a account.

If you were in the NCAA basketball tourny, you can use that same log in.

Well if you can logged into ESPN than you should be able to get into our league with no problems.

Have you sent them a email detailing your problems?

Where is GR? I've sent it to you at least 5 times, get your team ready. The draft is sunday and I really don't want to move it because you're not ready.
