Trey waived by Hornets

According to the Hornets forums, Trey got caught up in the numbers game. Most of the posts I saw were very positive about him. It is very hard for free agents to make it because he is competing against guys with guaranteed contracts. :shame: That's why I paid no attention to that feel good story about him. I think he will sign with another team or head to the NBA developmental league.

this is just apart of his story. I expect it wont be long before he can tell others how this only strengthened his resolve and help him accomplish his goals of not only making it in the league but being very sucessful as well.

I wish him the best.

Keep at it... he'll eventually make it somewhere in a pro league. At least they now know he's out there.

has "NOT" calling Linsey helped him out????

:smh:

Dude... Trey talks to Jacksonians Lindsey Hunter, Mo Williams, Monta Ellis and surely even Justin Reed routinely!... They are players, not coaches or general managers!...

What can any of them do to help Trey actually make an NBA roster... besides giving him positive advice and maybe telling their team's front ofc about him... which would serve no purpose because every NBA GM already knows about him!

Lindsey cannot go out there and dribble or shoot the ball for Trey!

:smh:
