JSU's Trey Johnson on New Orleans Roster

Former Jackson State men's basketball standout Trey Johnson signed with New Orleans Hornets, shortly after the conclusion of the NBA Lockout. Johnson came off the bench to score eight points in 19 minutes of play when the Hornets played the Memphis Grizzlies in the first preseason game of the year on Dec. 16. Johnson went 4-6 from the field and recorded an assist and a steal.

The Hornets won 97-90 in Memphis. New Orleans will next play Dec. 21 when the Hornets host Memphis.
