This is awesome. Looks like it's possible that Coach Prime and JSU got this young man without him making a recruiting visit to JSU. I do not see where he made a visit to JSU on 247 sports or Rivals. LOL! he did make a visit to Florida State.

This is why I begrudgingly choose solidarity lol seeing as everyone hates us. Solidarity is necessary though if we are going to remind people that some of the best all time NFL players went to our programs. Prime’s plan is innately inclusive and I’m good with everybody getting top recruits. This doesn’t work if we (jsu) build a mansion and our counterparts are in the projects…the entire conference has no value if we aren’t all competitive.

Off topic: I’m over blowing up recruits social media and trying to sell the program. We have 4 nfl hof, our coach is a hof who actually graduated from an hbcu, facility upgrades and amenities *delayed due to additions not in original blueprint being added*, attendance numbers higher than several g5 programs, and exposure that cannot be replicated by a lot of programs. If that doesn’t convince you then you aren’t what we are looking for. The portal is awesome but I want to see guys choose our programs right off the bat.

The only benefit that Covid provided is the change in recruiting and transfer protocols. We can over recruit due to the portal and preserve eligibility. We have to take advantage if we want ooc wins, so as long as a certain rule is in play, cut these jokers like the nfl do 😎😂. Make these kids skip over the obscure fbs/fcs programs, then schedule those schools, and beat their ass on national tv. We have to be solid top to bottom to make up for the difference in depth.

I've said it previously... we'll do better if we move together. We can keep our rivalries, our pageantry and tradition AND can still have a bigger stage, more scholarships to give to student athletes and as studies have shown by being apart of fbs, get more state funding. So the rising tide needs to lift all of our boats. The tide is coming in now, but we have to do something with our elevated status. If we do not when the tide goes out we'll be right where we used to be. We don't need to plan forever, that's call procrastination and fear. It's time to go. I remember when troy, was dII. they've gone from DII to fcs to fbs, all while we sat here looking at each other. It's time to move on up, and if some don't want to go we should take those that are ready, grab Tennessee State & A&T by the leash and bring them to fbs with us. If JSU has to go it alone b/c of some scared negros around the swac.... well, I guess I'll have to order some blue and white pom poms and by jsu season tickets because I want to be apart of that... not the fcs playoffs.

We must do it together. We may have to drag a few but we have to be on the same page. I want us to form our own conference tbh. Some of our schools won’t meet the requirements but we can’t wait and miss this window. They’ll have a spot whenever they are ready!
 
I’m proud of what I’m seeing around the conference. Wish I saw more SU in it, but I know they are working because they were just here in Texas. But, overall, keep beating THEM on social media and getting these youngsters into our world!

A former 5 star who has been in that P5 system for a year or two generally doesn't want to go FCS (same with QBs) but rather go to another P5 or G5. That's why it's becoming easier for HBCUs to nab those 3 and 4 stars in the portal and hope they hit

The day any of us can nab a couple of them out of HS or in the portal and they work out is the day that P5 schools better start worrying
