THE Logical ONE
Before the SWAC gives their predicted order of finish, I wanted to take a crack at it!

EAST
1. Jackson State
2. Alabama State- So making the first pick past JSU was HARD but if ASU can keep Body healthy, maybe they can be good enough to be #2
3. FAMU- They dont have a coach or a QB. I am just giving them benefit of the doubt to hold the #3 spot from AAMU. BUT im not overly convinced.
4. AAMU - They will always be average. That's just them. They just hired a coach who is going to have Roll Tide games playing in his head set. They better make sure BAMA is not playing at the same time. The fans wont be upset with him tho. They will understand.
5. Valley - Just because I had to pick
6. BCU - Im just assuming they will be bad. They do have a 2nd team QB but Im not sure that's a flex right now.

West:
1. Southern - They will still be sorry and will have to watch TxSo's back.
2. Texas Southern - I actually want to put them at 1b BUT I want to their HC make a tangible step in the right direction first.
3. Prairie View - Was hard to pick between them and GSU but at least PVs coach has a big D2 mouth and keeps things interesting.
4. Grambling- They will be motivated to do well in 2025 but #3 is their ceiling.
5. Alcorn - Alcorn is going to be sorry. Like really sorry. They dont have any money to get decent recruits and coaches. They will catch at least ten 50 pieces.
6. UAPB - I dont know if they even have any good players left. Doubt it tho.

You should have put PV @ #6 SWAC West. lol We're unproven, remember? We don't have any physical talent and have unproven D-1 coaches, remember? We didn't recruit well, remember? We have a lil' bitty, OLD, raggedy assed, non-state of the art 15K seat stadium with 12 fans, remember? We don't have a single lol weightroom on campus, remember? We don't allow our football players in our track stadium to train, remember? We have potholes all through our raggedy assed campus, remember? We don't have electricity out on the prairie, remember?

All this is true. PV has nothing and a D2 coach but you are only ahead of some schools who just cant do any better.

Alcorn won't be that bad 😆. They finished 6-6 last year and blew out txsu for whatever that's worth.
Thune will finish higher than 6 but still be bad

Exactly! Just put them all in a hat and pull a name. I'm only going with SU because, among them, they have the only fairly decent coach, except for MAYBE Coach Jackson. But it remains to be seen what he can do at the D1 level.

..and you know I low-key love them BRAVES! I hate to see them fall back to the bottom like this. But with no recruitment funds, little NIL money and opportunity, and a less-than-impressive coaching staff, it's just not looking good.

Naw they hit the juco ranks pretty hard. That alone has been keeping them competitive in the West in the Swac. You know you don't keep up with recruiting lol

And bcu lost six games by 5 points or less. That 2-6 record could have been much better. They won't finish 6.

IMO, JUCO ranks in 2025 is not the same as JUCO ranks in 2015. They used to build their roster off JUCOs during their run but times have changed. They dont hit the portal at all. I dont see them surviving like that.

O I still want you to Not believe in them lol but just letting you know they had talent and could have won more than 2 games last season so putting them 6 ain't it 😆

In my experience, this reasoning never works. Five points or fifty points are the same L. I used to use this logic during certain periods at JSU, believing we had a strong foundation to build on. However, when all is said and done, sorry is still sorry, and being smalltime will always remain just that—smalltime.

Dude, I dont think I have seen Alcorn this bad since like 2011/2012. Do yall have a QB? Bailey was a lil over-rated but he is gone and yall dont have anything to replace it. You have like two good defensive players and Sewell. Your good players should have transferred to Jackson State like Rob did, but he was always a Tiger at heart.

...and yes, yall relied heavily on JUCOs back then AND you had Big Mac to develop the QBs. You dont have that now. All you have is coach who like to cry and quit. I dont think he has ever had a winning record as a HC.

Sort of..... 🤣 🤣 But I do think SU and TxSo are in higher level of sorry than UAPB and Alcorn. Grambling is a crumbling dynasty (Thanks Lionel) and PV has to show and prove. One thing that PV does not realize yet is that they still just PV. Roster management will be very important. Nobody has heard of PV and if they did, it's because of the 80 game losing streak. So when those players dont get the PT/wins they want, you will get a locker room nightmare.

We still use to win at least 3 games so logically it works cause that means they ain't finishing 6th in the east 👍🏿

SMH! Man, your prediction is HOT ASS GARBAGE. lol Grambling will beat JSU again this year and be in the top 2 spots by season end.

Roster management is the last thing we have to deal with. Coach and staff seemingly have that under control (for now). The ONLY question which need answering is are we serving fresh cut skirt steak or t-bone steaks for dinner during our 1st game week lol. Are we serving goat milk or cows milk? We are an ag school so... :)
