JSU vs GSU
(Will JSU allow GSU to beat them in Jackson 3 times in a row? This is the biggest game of the year. Grambling can officially claim ownership of Jackson State with another win in Jackson after all their program went through in 2013.)


SU vs Alcorn
(Odums has to have a bad taste in his mouth when it comes to the Braves.)

Bama St vs AAMU
(Always a hard hitting civil war. Bulldogs want to win it this season badly. Will the AAMU coaching staff get revenge? Everyone knows that the hot seat is charged up for the 2016 season. AAMU wants to also end their habit of giving away "big plays" to ASU that take them out of the game mentality and physically.)

GSU vs SU
(The Jukebox and Jags took it on the chin last year. I went 0-2 in my picks for Bayou Classic weekend. Lol. Anyway, Odums had GSU's "take 3-3-5" giveaway defense looking like a pop warner mess before he decided to stop chipping away at it. Odums knows in his heart that he should have blown GSU away last season, but he let them back into the game and they never looked back. SU fans dreams of a 90's run were ended due to poor coaching. Odums is coming for blood this season.)

Mississippi Valley vs Rick Comegy
(Does the old man have any gas in the tank? Is he in over his head? Did he underestimate the challenges Valley faced to have a winning football program? Did he take the job on emotion instead of his brain? Does he still believe he can win in Valley? This could be Comegy's last year if Valleys doesn't win at least 3 or 4 games this season. I can't believe Comegy didn't demand a watered down schedule. Montana? For what? A long expensive trip for a check from a FCS opponent? Why not beg FBS programs like Charlotte, Texas State, UMass, North Texas, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic or a first year FBS like Coastal Carolina for a quick money game? If Valley has no problem with traveling to the Mountain West, they should have called up Wyoming or UNLV for a pay for play game a d received a bigger check.)

SU/PV...... Revenge of our Homecoming loss in PV's new stadium. Should be a nice atmosphere.
SU/JSU... Big Game in Jackson... This should be a Big crowd.

Valley vs AAMU (I wanna see how we look coming off that EMU game against a team we actually stand a chance of beating in a possible Thursday night game (if they're gonna move it, it'll be this game))

PV vs Grambling (PV lost Hebert. Grambling lost Williams. Expect both to still be in the convo as far as best teams in the SWAC. Both need to show improvement in defense)

TxSU vs PV (PV gets to open their new stadium versus their rival. With Haywood as coach, how will he utilize Griffin in his offense)

Grambling vs Alcorn (Can Alcorn keep it rolling against a team that wants revenge for that embarrassment in the SCG)

JSU vs Tennessee State (Wanna see how Hughes looks against a respectable FCS program in TSU)

alcorn @ grambling sept 24. This might be alcorn's first really challenge if the transition goes well.
pvamu vs. tx so sept 3 Can PV keep the train rolling or will TSU finally show signs of life.
grambling vs. pvamu oct 1 who's the boss?
bama st. @ southern sept 17 southern's 1st swac test of the new season
southern @ alcorn oct 29 only a big game if mcnair has keep the magic going

southern vs. grambling possibly a de facto swac championship game
 
Alcorn vs Alabama State: the East will be on the line early in the season
Grambling vs JSU: Grambling hasn't lost in Jackson since 1999 and only 7 times since JSU moved into the Vet
Alcorn vs SU: Odums has never beat Alcorn
Grambling vs PV: PV thought they had finally turned the corner on Grambling, a 3rd straight lost could put them back in the scrub category
Gramlbing vs SU: this game might get Odums fired on the dome floor, or have Gramblinites looking at Fobbs sideways if we miss the SWAC Championship game
