Hughes ain't OMJ. You never beat a JSU coach named Hughes...
...and its not so much as an excuse. You are right. AAMU had nothing to do with the fact that we hired OMJ and Bell. However, you can't deny that 90% of your JSU wins are against them. So it's reasonable to assume that ANY decent coach roaming the JSU sideline will beat AAMU's azz.

It's reasonable to assume all this rhetoric you just typed doesn't make any logical sense TP...

no one else in the swac comes up with these type of "pie in the sky" excuses for their football program being sorry lol

yall "savior" Hughes gone end up cussing the whole school out once yall try to get on him for being a loser coach instead of a "decent" coach "that took over the SWAC"( jsu wishful thinking) lol

Im going off of facts. If the coach is not OMJ or Bell, chances are you can't beat them. Hughes is a real coach. This could arguably be the best X and O staff we have EVER had at JSU. Comegy had lost it. Did you even see in our last SCG, we had 4th and short, drew SU off sides but Comegy didn't tell the team to snap the ball? He called a time out!? lol He was probably daydreaming about a cheeseburger and missed the play.

No Rhetoric.. just truth. You can't deny that your ONLY success vs JSU has been vs Bell and OMJ. Those two coaches were not wanted in Jackson. I went to the first alumni meeting in Jackson when they announced Bell. They had to come in and talk to us and ask us to be respectful. That banquet hall was ready to tear into that azz. Hiring Jackson pissed off the whole alumni base.

Hughes has been met with welcoming arms... just like Comegy was.
