He said the Soul Bowl had to drop its original name and change to the Capital City Bowl because Southwest Airlines and other Cooperate Sponsors would not support a Soul Bowl. As you know the Sky Show will be in Jackson this Friday.

Now I know the Bamas aren't talking about a classic.

The SWAC Classics go something like this:

Bayou Classic
Capital City Classic/Soul Bowl
Gateway Classic
"I can't name another legit classic so this one is made up" Classic

Shame on you trying to smack a Classic that is 65 years old with a parade that is larger than the Macy's Parade. The only parade larger than the MCC is the Rose Bowl Parade and we led that one this year.

I heard ramblings parade they had after beating SU in 04 was larger than 2 MCC parades. :read:
 



Well at least the CCC is live on Comcast Sports South. MD you can't get that channel on Direct TV.


Tru 3000 you mean nobody comes to the MCC outside of Alabama. The photographers don't count. They are paid to be there.:lol:

Stag, everybody want to be tied to something great and meaningful. Next thing you know they will be trying to have a "Maroon" out for their home games, all 3K of them. You see, they understand their place and just want to hang with the big boys.

They tried to open a BAMMA ONLY thread last week, but they got no responses.

JR, you know there a lot of people who pretend they are so knowledgble of what goes on in America, but there are so many that don't even know there is a Macy's Parade.

BB, we have been having Maroon outs before and after we joined the SWAC. You know we are famous for windsuits, but we never thought about something like White out like JSU did.

Makaho 2.0 we can say that UAPB and AAMU are the only teams that beat the Former Big Three in the same season.

If you can get the Tom Joyner Morning Show, they are referring to the CCC as the Soul Bowl. If we Bamas lived in Mississippi, instead of placing Home of JSU Tigers on Veterans Memorial, you should put Home of The Soul Bowl.

We set a SWAC low because we were protesting Bell when we got only 2,900 for that home game last year.

A@M.................The BAMMAS, MCC CROWD BEASTS, only got 1,900 freaking hundred for their home game.....................THE SWAC EAST SO-CALLED CHAMPS.

This SCG is going to set records in all categories negative. :shame:

MD, the windsuit crew doesnt count. There is only 30 of you all and I know 30 windsuits can not be called a "Maroon Out" out of a total of 3K fans.
 
Actually BB there are 297 of us.


Stag, don't you remember that, we don't care about attendance. Didn't we tell you that since joining the SWAC our attendance is up. When we drop back to 531 in attendance we are going to get worried.
