People always talk about the BOOM is just awesome, they are just Great Like Frosted Flakes. (but) I feel that if ASU,MVSU,SU, or any other SWAC band perfected the same show for every week, they would be just the "bomb" also.
That is all I have to say about that subject.
Oh my damn. You go to Alcorn. I should just say nevermind and leave it a that, but just to indulge you.
You see JSU at ASU, SU, or a BOTB. I see ASU at JSU. We don't come see SU vs ASU or any other ASU matchup. Why because we have no interest in ASU, but you make it a point to come see SU vs. JSU. Hmmm, I wonder why. Is it because matchups like that and even some others are more exciting than any ASU might muster up? Not many people at JSU or from JSU say "Oooh damn, I got to go watch the Jukebox vs. Sounds of Dynamite." We don't care. We don't watch Alcorn even if they are on TV and we don't go to battle of the bands to see Alcorn unless we are there too. You have seen the Boom enough to know what moves look similar in dance routines, what drills look the same, whether the J-Settes are good or bad this year, what songs we play. I don't know a damn thing that Alcorn has done or played outside of Funky Stuff, I'm Real, and that fanfare yall use to play, the basic stuff I've heard them play every year against JSU. The reason being..........yall are irrelevant to most JSU and Boom fans and alumni. Maybe if yall ever get on TV or are invited to a few more of the major BOTB, other than the one in Jackson, we might have the chance to see and decide if yall are doing the same things over and over. Let me ask you this, did it help you last year when the Boom did the same type show at the Capital City Classic and still bust the Dynamite's head to the white meat throughout the game. Let me clue you in, they are more than likely going to do the same type show this year against you....it still won't matter. :emlaugh:

The boom is only repetitave on the road and for major games, but at games like when we play valley, PB, AAMU, bama state; you probably wont see tiger run-on, floating JSU, or a twiler feature, or some times even rock the house.

[I see Critaucal could not think of anything brilliantly on her own. She has to take someone else's words and twist and misuse them. (but) I must be very important to you because evidently you like my words just soooooooooo much. Yahoo!! Anyway some of these people act really immature on the chat sites. I make one comment about JSU doing something different and so many people get upset. I guess the truth will stir up a lot of controversy. I have one question, how can a half time show be MISTAKENLY great if you do the same things over and over. (and) Also I don't just mark my calendar to make an appointment to see JSU's band. Hell, I have a life. (and) Why do people think that when they look at your profile and see that you are affiliated with a certain school means that you are presently attending? Quit ASS-UMING so much. I don't have to and don't owe an explanation for every little detail that I post. It is very obvious that all JSU people have a big ego for some reason I don't know why. It seems as though JSU people can not take criticism of any kind. Anyway I am going to leave this message board to you all kids because that is what you all act like. I am in a totally different league! Peace!

You sound like one of those people that really wanted to be in the Boom, but maybe settled for something else.
Whatever the case may be or whatever you may want to call us, childish, defensive or whatever.....the fact remains that most people on this board have graduated from school, some with multiple degrees, and are doing very well in their careers. You call it childish, we call it debate. The real childish behaviors is not being able to hold your own in a debate when people have picked apart your argument and to start people calling names or adjectives like childish, defensive, and on & on. So yeah I guess you are on your own level. Purely a defensive mechanism to divert us all from the fact that you can't debate your points. Like I said earlier.....What good does it do Alcorn when the Boom does the same type show every CCC? What good will it do Alcorn this year?
