Tenn State has a fine tradition and is an old rival, but you can bet your azz that the GMen are gonna whip the isht out of them in Las Vegas. Yall just don't realize what the SWAC is in for...the Decade of Dominance began in 2000...yall got at least 8 more years of getting destroyed by THE ICON OF BCF

Bro, you have been around dem boyz from JSewer to long.:D

How do you know? Are you talking about heresay or first hand experience. If P V brought their band - that would not increase attendance. A&M brought their pitiful band (Sorry DAHILL} and ASU brought their make shift band, attendance did not increase. The lack of promotion is the problem with the JMC.

DAHILL

A lot of the old heads know about P V. There were some instructors at TSU that were grads of P V. I know there are a lot of P V folks in Memphis. They might have 200 supportors.

Who are you going tp pull for - your SWAC Sister of TSU?:D

I like you - you have a vision. TSU {That's TN STATE} has always been a powerhouse among HBCU's. Actually, there are only 3 or 4 - TSU, GRAM, FAMU oh yeah the Lynch Street Boys. Those four programs make up HBCU Football. Then there are a lot of wanna be's.

All we're going to do is change the decals on our helmets to Murray State or whatever OVC school you all usually bow down for and we'll win. Plus we'll have more white boys on the teaam to really make you feel at home

That statement is going to cost the kitties, a serious azz beating at Adelphia. One like you never had before. Considering, Dorsey, is a alum we will win only by 40. By the way - I know your team is not use to playing under lights, natural grass, instant replay, more than 500 fans, sidelines and so on. Please do not let that be an excuse for being totally humiliated in front of your 50 - 100 supportors.:D

Rat Patrol

The only comment I have is bad, bad, bad. But there is hope. Who knows we may end up winning the OVC Tournament.

I doubt if Prairie View will bring it's Marching Band to Nashville,
Nashville is about 15 hours from Hempstead, Texas.

I was told we play you all on the 27th of Sept. AAMU plays TSU the week before so it will be one of those trips that I doubt we make.

Why? If they go to Nashville, they will say that trip broke the bank. Then if they go AAMU, they will not go to Jackson late in the year.

It is going to be one of those years where a lot of folks will have their hopes up only to het them shot down.

I thought in a Classis, that the Classic pays for bands to come, or is this an exception?

They 'll put it in the contract to make sure that PV's Band shows up .....I promise..;)

You must not know how our admin thinks........it'll be a miracle that happens

I would not be surprised if we made that. You know how how folks act when a contract is printed and money is to be lost.

In 1998 the band got the entire athletics program suspended for two days because they were performing in Dallas even though they were supposed to sit out two games. They said they didn't want to take the 50K fine for not showing up.

For contracts we'll bust our azz but when games on the road are not under contract the administration acts like those games mean nothing. It'll be interesting to see after Nashville will the support the band because we only have 2 more home games and the rest will be road games.

They might need to call the AAAMU the BUlldog Classic so the band can go

they need to call the JSU game the Tiger Classic so they can go
