the great thing about our baseball programs..(won't mention how ours have caught up with yours after being underfunded for 30 years)....we both want to win but we have two different philosophies on trying to win.
Tell your assistant coach his old next door neighbor is doing just fine for us on the mound.

Let me let you in on a tiny little secret that no one knows about not even President Slade.......... DON'T NOBODY AT TEXAS SOUTHERN GIVE A DAMN ABOUT TSU BASEBALL SO THERE WAS NO MONEY FUNDED INTO THE PROGRAM. Hell, I can promise you PVU has put more money into it's baseball program than Texas Southern has EVER put into ours. So what are you saying? After all these supposed 30 years that PV has underfunded it's program are you saying Texas Southern has fully funded it's program?
So please respond back with how woeful PV has been because of underfunding when we have been underfunded just as severely as PV.
By the way, tell us how does a head coach that should be considered a volunteer along with legit volunteer coaches and less than 6 scholarships to spread over 25 players make it to the NCAA tournament (with a losing record to PV mind you) when just 40 miles up the street that program funds it's program better than ours (with a better winning record than us mind you)? :lol:

funding? PV? :lmao:...why did we suck during the Tankersley years and you all had more talent but never got over the hump? 6 'ships is better than 2. whatever last I checked (what we used to have). You got built in resources....tell the local kid....stay at home...(save on food and housing)...put this kid on financial aid...give this kid some cash...tell 3 more kids stay at home...put another 2 in a dorm with some aid...etc...
way easier to split 6 'ships in Houston than 6 at PV....Robertson's first year....we had nothing but 14 players...Candy had full teams out there with only 6 'ships.
why does it take us to jumpstart your programs? Don't let women's track explode...uh oh...:lmao:

I did....how were you competitive and we weren't when we weren't doing much? we had 3 basketball scholarships and 1.5 baseball scholarships plus you had to find housing for nearly every player. That's making something out of nothing.
the NCAA max is only 11.7 so you were offering more than half and you can split that up more ways when you can tell a kid to stay at home and give him some book money or tuition money.

it ain't that hard in his situation...you got a brother-in law who scouts all the time for you, an assistant on the payroll who coaches a summer league RBI team where you have access to the top players...and several grads who are basically willing to help for free just to get in the door and establish certain connections
