C-leb...we made money regardless..just based on our non-conference schedule alone we were in the black....

as for that sweep....records weren't kept by either school up until the mid-90s for some odd reason but that was the talk.

still...Toyota Center benefits us...we got less seats to fill so our paying custoners always lose out to students..you all got more seats to fill so for the 2nd year in a row...only graduation and the homecoming concert will render the need for the HP&E.

Oh and by the way... Saturday night's game only drew 4,500K fans. I wonder if the next game February 3rd (our home game) will draw more. I wonder which school will make more this year?

NOPE,

considering it is on a Thursday night instead of the traditional Saturday night it's use to be played on. :dead:

School will be in session, middle of the week, ... If 3K shows up it'll be a miracle. The out of towners from this area? lol If they didn't show up this past Sat, it'll be somewhat of a surprise if they decided to travel early Thursday for the game(s).

Both should return to campus until each has a good team because that BS from both squads that I saw Sat night should've been outlawed. Some of the guys played w/ heart, but most played like BS. :D

I have to agree with you Cleb those games shouldbe played on campus..... Both schools can hold htis crowd.. I also think that more people will come out..... I will never pay 25 to watch a game that could have been played on campus for a much chepaer price.... I am not sure if it is about the money but I'm glad that I did not pay and someone else did....Hell, if I would have known it was that much I would have never came or I would have been content sitting outside........ This wa last season though...... Have you all talked to the school about taking the game back to campus????? I hope that is not digging to keep... Way to go Cleb I agree with you 100%.

These games should be on campus period!!!

But CLeB, we're making more $$$$$$ while renting out Toyota Ctr rather than holding it on campus. Where's Jafus? lol

Ya' know, I don't know what to believe anymore. I paid an extra 50$ for courtside for a cousin and by the time I'd tallied up how much I'd spent while treating our future PV soccer guy :emlaugh:, I'd spent upwards of 147$ for 2 50$ tix, 5$ parking, 4 3.50$ cokes  lol, bbq sandwiches (4) @ 7$ apiece, the 10$ tip to the gul who was dancing all freaky near the mens' bathroom  ... That money could've gone towards campus athletics... :|

WELL WELL WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW THE TURD WARD TIGERS JUMPED IN ONE OF THOSE TOYOTA TUNDRAS AND RAN OVER THE PANTHERS ON SATURDAY NITE.POOR COACH FRANCIS HE STOMPED AND SCREAMED AND CURSED HIS WAY INTO A BIG FAT TECHNICAL.THE GUY EVEN COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PRE GAME TIP.HE WOULDNT SHAKE THE TSU PLAYERS HAND'S @ ALL.THE TIGERS DID BEND BUT THEY DID NOT BREAK.SO MUCH FOR THAT 2-0 STREAK IN THE TOYOTA CENTER.TIGERS DOING IT LIVE IN THE 05!!!!!!!

yeah i miss the Babydome games. I am eager to see a comparitive analysis with real numbers between a game at PV's campus vs. Toyota Center. How much does it cost to rent Toyota? How much do we receive from ticket sales? I understand the argument that alot of the Babydome crowd would be free student tickets but the revenue from concessions, parking, etc. will all benefit the University in some way. AS far as this past saturday...I was able to get into the game, park, buy nachos and a drink for about $20 total. I absolutely refuse to pay $50 for courtside...that bulls--t ain't gon' look no better up close. :shame:

:shame: @ post-game smack. A three point win is an azzwhipping now? I haven't heard this much from you since before Labor Day.

chatta, I KNOW you ain't bragging on that BS display I saw last Sat night. Both teams are piss-poor w/ regards to bball play. Period. :| I KNOW you've mentally compared this years' squad to some of the more recent squads, right? Your big men don't play "big." Had the size advantage and didn't utilize it fully. Your guard play is questionable... Ol' boy did get off (I think he had 23 pts) but TSU couldn't hit from the outside period. I wonder why coach Fran didn't go to a 2-3 zone. I would've DARED TSU to hit from the outside. Wilson hit what.. 1 3? The other guard (ol' half-whitey) could've done some damage I'm sure. As for us? We don't have any big-men. Period. :| Y'all made 2 of our ONLY scorers look like all-SWAC. lol Check the stats. You'll see what I'm talking about.

I don't/didn't mind paying the $$$$. It's just that the $$$$ went towards the city of Houston/HSA vs staying on campus and being utilized by our athletic dept. That's what I don't care for. :read:

Lawd... :shame: I didn't wanna' remind him how they ALMOST lost to a team of all-guards and how they disappeared from the boards from Labor Day week forward. :|

Why chatta, why????

you mean 300 total yards on the season Gilmore? :lmao:

our freshman, who we signed as a linebacker and made the transition during the season back to running back had more yards than him

If you are Talking about Arnell Fontenot, The coach that put him at LB should have been sent packing.

Bob Moreland lost to PV three times in his first 20 years. In his last 6 years it was a split. TSU won the game in tournament.

I just hope it is not fifteen more years, before PV beats us in football again. Blu this was a first for you as you probably did not know what football was the last time PV won.

1988...next question.....

it made sence for him to be a LB at first...we signed 4 backs last season so it made sense...however..none of those backs saw the field except him

lol..it all worked out.....

no more 15-year droughts....if that happens again I will stop coming to football games

what's this I hear about a certain coach leaving for browner pastures?

So, back to the name of this post..."Time to Pimp Our Maroon and Grey's"

I guess we should revert back to the original statetment and ask the question.....Who really got Pimped, PV?? :emlaugh:

After going 0 for 2004 against 'lil ol PV', you are smacking about a 3 point win over PV, and WE got pimped????

CLeB, are you responsible for this??
