Not to pile on, but I actually blame brothers for the state of many sisters. A lack of strong male role models has left a generation of sisters that think they are supposed to control their men. Some of things I hear from single young AA women in DC amazes me. I learned to keep my mouth shut. My wife gives me plenty of space to do my thing and I am happy about it.
One thing I don't understand about many of my sisters is why they always feel the need to get involved in their friends relationship

I always give the following advice to young couples who are about to get married or are newlyweds..."Keep God in your Marriage and everyone else out!" When we first got married, my wife was in the company of my sisters and some other females (none of them married). They said "Girl, now Michael Dean is nice but let me tell you.." She stopped them and said... "We don't discuss Michael Dean!" and she excused herself, went got some punch then came back and rejoined their conversation. That was 34 years ago and she still don't discuss Michael Dean with no one but Michael Dean!

They would have strong male role models if they momma would have Féd one. Role models like p-ssy too. But no one ever addresses the issue from that standpoint. I have met guys with 10 plus kids running around and still getting plenty of azz. Women only care when it is their baby getting screwed over.

Bigg you right on that one because the outside people don't understand the whole picture and never would. I got a friend divorced now because his wifey so busy listening to her "not married: aunts saying what they wouldn't take off her husband, now her and the aunts aren't married :smh:

Let Me Yall A True Story about a situation at my workplace in DC currently:
Let me start with the Descriptions:
TAN (African-American Woman, 3 different kids with 3 different baby daddies, GS-12 Position- Makes over $75,000 a year, loves to flaunt the Single Woman "I Made It On My Own with Kids" Mentality, believes STRONGLY in the Astrological Shat, Ghetto and Loud, but still a GS-12 regardless. Worked in the Federal Government for 20 years and took the "test" to get in.)
TOM (African-American Male, Been in jail, met TAM 10 years ago, hooked back up with TAM when he got out the pen and TAM gave birth to her 3rd child, a little boy. Street Dealer type.)
BECKY (as the name says, is Becky. Contractor)
Here is how it goes: TAN got TOM a contractor job cleaning floors at the place SHE WORKED. Thing about it though is that TAN worked during the day while TOM worked during the nightshift. BECKY was TOM's night-time Supervisor. BECKY started feeling TOM and TOM needless to say, fell in. BECKY and TOM go out for drinks and BECKY drives TOM Home. TAN comes out the house upset. TAN brings the situation to work and now the whole staff knows about it...:smh:. Keep in Mind, ALL THIS HAPPENED OUTSIDE THE WORKPLACE. TAN starts saying she is going to kick Becky's ass, etc. Becky reports TAN but TAN uses mess to fight mess and nothing ever becomes of it. TOM gets his hours reduced and is put on call. BECKY gets afraid of TAN and finds a new job in Atlanta. Now this where it gets wild: TAN and TOM were never married. TAN goes to court and has the last name of the baby boy changed AND files a restraining order against TOM. Remember, TOM is on call so his check ranges anywhere from 400 a month - 800 a month. TAN is STILL trying to put this man on child support when she herself makes over $75,000 :smh:. TAN's first child (female) has graduated college while the 2nd one (also female) is about to graduate high school. TAN is so miserable she now says her last child, the baby boy, is the only man in her life she needs.
When this story played out, I said the hell with them DC women. TOM was wrong but damn. Yall think we are lying when we say those Working Professional and College-Educated AA Women are just as crazy as those strippers/escort women. Escorts and Strippers know the game. Pay, Protected Hit, and Exit. No Drama, No Mess.

For what I consider high end, $300 wouldn't get you ... anything. However, there are escorts of all races doing it for $300. There are a lot of factors that play into the price other than race.

I had two workout partners who did it. They were getting like $50-$60 an hour to drive them chicks around at night and wait on them. One did why he was in law school. He said he would take his books, sit in the hotel lobby and study while waiting on the girl to come out. This is true, I have seen them white girls going for about $900 a hour. I used to go to the Mandarin Hotel here in DC on Friday nights to listen to jazz and I would see those chicks working the room like magic. Whenever I fell off in there dressed up.... smh..... Being a GS-12 after 20 years is nothing to brag about. Hell, my goal is to have a GS-14 by 30. $75k in this area is barely breathing room to be honest.

Yeah, really not hard. I got my GS-12 at 27. It is three people on my team. The Director is a 15, the other guy is a 14 and I should *praying* be a GS-13 by the end of July. My director and my coworker are both retirement eligible and plan to leave within the next two years. I could honestly sit still and sail through but I want to get out the feds for a while.
