Tight PWC band

Folks, this past Friday night Western Carolina Univ band performed at my son's HS football game. WOW! That is the tightest non HBCU band I think I've ever seen. They were on point. Great sound, crisp/excellent percision, etc. They even broke out some hip hop and danced to "Lean with it, rock with it".
 
The Pride of the Mountains is an excellent band. I heard they are doing a Rock theme this year. They are are also a large band that can cover the field from end zone to end zone. I am sure they are fun to watch.

My second favorite band in the country is this one.

I like them because they can play any style (Pop, Rock, Gospel, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Country, Stage & Screeen, Raggae, etc.) and march in any style (traditional, corps, highstep) . One of their past Director of Bands is a FAMU alumn and he really established a high standard there.

I did not know that about Ohio U. I'll have to you tube them and check them out.
WCU is doing a Rock theme titled Rock U. It was a really tight performance. I'd say they're marching somewhere in the low 300s not including aux.
