ticket prices for southern vs ull game

If I heard the AD correctly on Jaguar Journal our payout will be the second largest ever for a instate FCS school second only to what McNeese got from LSU.

What you fail to realize, if it wasn't for subsidized School Funds, most HBCUs and a lot of small PWCs would be struggling too. It's just that some are struggling more than others.

ACCUMULATIVE REVENUE WITHOUT SUBSIDIZED SCHOOL FUNDS MINUS ACCUMULATIVE EXPENSES FROM 2005 TO 2013
SOUTHERN - ($22,040)
Jackson State - ($10,361,269)
McNeese - ($30,499,196)

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/schools/finances/

I don't know about you, but the way I see it, I would rather have a deficit of a few thousand dollars for the past 9 years then a deficit of tens of million dollars for the past 9 years.

Like I previously stated, maybe McNeese can help jSU find the financial means to support that 50k domed stadium.

And you STILL can't field tennis and golf teams? What's the use of having a supposed "surplus" when there's obvious financial mismanagement?

Besides, you're talking out of both sides of your mouth. One minute you're criticizing your former AD, LeFleur, but the years su posted a supposed surplus were the very years he was the AD. Hahahahahahaha!!! You finally gave the ex-AD his due credit.

So stupid to be bragging on money when you don't have a full allotment of sports teams. That's the countriest stupidest shit of all time. And trust me, their past AD ain't the problem, it's the current one....they are just too dumb to know it

Now these fools are on here seriously swinging big time from LaFleur's gonads. The way they are talking, it would be wise for them to replace lickety-split with LaFleur. And LaFleur just might have the means of getting them into the big revenue generating SLC.

Also, FAMU is about to drop a few smalltime sports in order to get their athletic program to become self-sufficient and they are in better shape than most SWAC school's athletic programs except for one.

ACCUMULATIVE REVENUE WITHOUT SUBSIDIZED SCHOOL FUNDS MINUS ACCUMULATIVE EXPENSES FROM 2005 TO 2013
FAMU - ($8,368,072)
SWAC 2nd most financially stable program - ($10,361,269) ***This is a damn shame***

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/schools/finances/

I would say which SWAC school has the most self-sufficient athletic program, but that would cause some on here to swing harder from Lafleur's nutz.

If golf was pretty much the only sport I had that could guarantee me a few conference championships, I would want to keep it too. But since AlaState is the SWAC's golf champs, it shouldn't matter to the other 9 SWAC schools.

They want the State of Mississippi to help fund them a 50k domed stadium when their athletic program average a deficit of $(1,151,252.11) a year. :emlaugh::smh:

I would expect BBF to do this because she ain't 21 but not an alleged full grown man.

Must be nice to be a guest columnist for TSPN. But if I say JS-Who I'm getting points and post deleted.

Keep posting flawed numbers while ignoring the fact that your school still has yet to set aside funding over the past four or five years on non-revenue sports such as tennis and golf.
Heck, if most schools didn't have to pay for non-revenue sports for the last five years, their revenue ledger would probably be better than su's.
Still nice of you to give LeFleur a bit of the spotlight though.:snicker:

If the numbers are flawed in your little mind, you need to take that up with USA Today and jSU, since USA Today says their numbers come straight from public schools in the NCAA's Division I that have an obligation to release the data.

The data, updated for 2013, are based on the revenue and expense reports collected from more than 225 public schools in the NCAA's Division I that have an obligation to release the data (the NCAA does not release the data publicly).

But what I can't understand, how can any man cling so close and become so cozy with another man's (LaFleur) gonads? :emlaugh:

But since these jSU folks that say LaFleur is such a great AD don't have the power to make decisions at jSU, I'm quite sure ole lizard tongue lickety-split's job is pretty much safe for now.

Flawed simply means you can twist numbers any kind of way to make a positive out of them. Those numbers don't really tell the whole story, especially when your not funding the full allottment of scholarships to men's/women tennis and golf.

And you don't wanna admit the fact that you posted something positive under LeFleur's tenure? You can't say that he didn't do something positive while he was at su.

And you have the nerves to talk about twisted and flawed data.

Like I previously stated in my post above, take that up with USA Today and jSU. With an annual average deficit of $1.15 million dollars per year, it definitely seems like lickety-split and the da queen would consider dropping a few non-revenue generating sports in order to become more self-sufficient, but I'm sure that probably would cause a riot on jSU's campus if they did that.

You do realize SU and LSU were the only two self-sufficient athletic programs in the State of Louisiana prior to LaFleur's arrival as AD at SU in 2005, so you and your other jSU buddy can stop all that coziness with LaFleur's gonads.

You didn't mention pre-2005 data, you specifically mentioned data betweein 2005 and 2013. Let's stay on point.

Common sense would tell you that SU's athletic program was in great shape prior to LaFleur being our AD, but you are jayrob.

But it was YOU who bragged that during his tenure, su had a surplus. Come on 89, you can't have it both ways. You unwittingly gave the man named LeFleur, credit for the surplus.

Who said anything about a surplus and where in the hell did you get that from???

If you go back and read with some common sense, you'll see that I posted that SU's athletic program had an overall deficit of $22,040 for the 9 years between 2005 to 2013, basically an average annual deficit of $2,449 dollars per year, which is nowhere near an overall deficit of $10,361,269 for the same time period or an average annual deficit of $1,151,252.11 dollars per year.

You are so busy trying to cozy up next to LaFleur's nuts that your reading comprehension skills have gotten to an all-time low. :emlaugh:

You're sure?! What makes you so sure cause he hasn't mentioned one word about adding the programs back.

Let me put it like this, if I was him, I'll wait until LaFleur's screw-ups are completely out of SU's system before I restore any non-revenue generating programs. But to maintain a $1.15 million dollar deficit a year while holding on to every athletic program, including the non-revenue generating programs, when a school doesn't need that many programs to remain at the Division I level is mucking insane.

I was waiting on this to get pointed out. That guy sees SU and he loses all comprehension skills, reading ability, and common sense.

He and his buddy are bat crap crazy and clueless. There's only one public HBCU at the Division I level minus it's subsidized School Funds had an overall surplus from its athletic program during the period from 2005 to 2013, but the amount of Student Fees to support the athletic programs are outrageous in my opinion. All the other public HBCU athletic programs at the Division I level minus subsidized School Funds show an overall deficit during the period from 2005 to 2013, with SU having the lowest deficit.

Those two are trying so hard to stroke LaFleur's gonads that they are not even trying to interpret the data their school was obligated to release to USA Today via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Title 5 Sections 552 of the U.S.C.

Here's a little trivial for those that love riding SU's ex-AD's nutz.

According to the data from USA Today, below I created 3 pie charts of 3 athletic programs in the SWAC. The pie charts represent the percentage of accumulative expense by category for each athletic program from 2005 to 2013. The 3 programs are labeled as School “A”, School “B”, and School “C”. I intentionally exploded the “Scholarships” category of each pie chart in order to highlight the percentage each school used on scholarships from 2005 to 2013. I bet the two individuals that love riding LaFleur's gonads are clueless on which pie chart represents that school in Jackson, MS.
