I've seen better coaching results and coaching from a lower tier school with Langston.

That was sad ass coaching from us and has been in this conference.

The SWAC will never get back to how it was in the 90s, the coaching in this league is a D minus, F plus.

This is just to sad to watch. I love my school, but my dayum, do we even know how to coach talent?? sht. That was just sad and terrible. Trash.

It's time to call this crap out mane.

That's the problem, we compare our coaches to the bottom guys and are pacified. We should compare up not down. Head coaches in the south land conference are making what TSU's O.C & D.C. make. How can we continue to accept putrid performance from these people?

Kennisaw St, 6-1 their H.C. makes 180K, their O.C. & D.C. both make under 100k.

TSU H.C. makes 300k our O.C. & D.C. both make 150k each. How does this shat happen. Years ago TSU could have hired Major Applewhite as O.C. but all they saw was he is unproven. Hell he was running UT's offense as a player. I bet he will not even take a tour of the campus now.

I don't give a fugg what color their skin is hire the best available coach. TSU I don't think has ever in it's History truly had a National/Regional/State search for it's Head Football coach. Time for change!

I understood that, and my comment was a general comment not aimed directly at you. We have many people around the swac in leadership or that have the ears of leadership that really think the way you described in your message. It's time for that shat to change.

Sometimes, we rely to much on talent. But, until, we start building programs, instead of teams. We will always be the last of the bunch.

Okay, I have two questions?
1. Does any of our athletic departments have a vision for the next two to five years?

2. How can we replicate a successful program like St. Augustine's track team? (They are constantly winning the D-2 NCAA track championship.)

Look, we have the talent to play outside of conference. But, majority of the coaches only worry about winning the SWAC. Look, we need to do a self-evaluation of our programs.

Eventually, we are going have to break away from retread coaches. We have too.

We aren’t selling our brand anymore as well. Alumni don’t give back, so we have resulted to selling our halftime shows to PWI’s and letting our football teams get abused by FBS level programs. We just don’t want to work hard to promote HBCU Classics throughout the season anymore, so prostitution games are our means to pay bills.

We can reallly make our own damn money and build our own damn facilities. With all of these prostitution games, you would think that all of us would have a “decent” 50 yard indoor practice facilities by now. Lol

False narrative. Damn near all FCS schools are catching bodies in “prostitution games”.
 
How long has Kennesaw St sported a division I fcs/i-aa football team? How long has your school? And they quickly ascended into fcs dominance how?

Right. For us PVers locally, all we have to do is look a mere 49.2 miles NE of campus towards huntsville, tx to see how a once no-name football school now owns the state, at the fcs level, in all sports, for the most part. That's mind-boggling considering the cherished history of PVAMU and our once proud record. We've been bullshitting for quite awhile but, I do believe we got the hire right this time w/ coach Eric Dooley. It's all business, nothing personal, so fvck your feelings. Admire that attitude.

Selling the brand....what's the going rate on trash? How do you sell the worst D1 conference in the nation. I don't care how good at sales you are, it always hard when your product stinks.

As it stands now SWAC = Washington Generals
