Now, I know someone who went to Poland and Georgia and it was really bad.

On Italy, I must say that the Italians were super nice to me and the wife. We are headed to the countryside this summer so I will revisit this post after that.

It depends on what parts you go to in Italy. The tourist areas are ok, but off the beaten path and they are something else.
