I just laugh my ass off when I hear certain schools refer to themselves as the SWAC Eastern Division Champs. Or sometimes the they may say something like atleast we made it to Birmingham, or atleast we made it to the SWAC Championship Game. I am referring to the Alabama shools. They say this alot. To the schools from Alabama you need to learn that second place means absolutely nothing. The goal is to win the championship, nothing else matters. The quicker you realize this, the sooner you may win a championship or two. I guess what I am trying to say is, in a language that you understand. "Yall need to quit thinking so smalltime."
For example have you ever heard anyone from JSU, GSU, Alcorn, or SU say stuff like:

1. Atleast we made it to the championship game. (no)
2. Atleast we won the EAST/WEST. (no)
3. Atleast we beat you on your homecoming.

No, because these schools have winning traditions. If you BAMA's ever won anything you would know what I am talking about.

You BAMA's need to set your goals a littlle higher, and concentrate on winning Championships and not just games.

Thats what Bull Connor did to them. They cant help it. If you aint use to having nothing, you think nothing is something. Its just how they are programmed.
 



I laugh my @ss off when I see posters from the house of Donna Karan attempt to align themselves with other programs who have won championships since they have, to make themselves appear "bigtime."

For example: (as posted by noise)

I laugh my @ss off when someone from the DK design house would start such a post, when the PA announcer at this same said school announced Donna as "the defending SWAC Eastern Division Champion" two years ago.


Finally, I laugh my @ss off at Donna Karan because they make me. Clowns generally do that!!

As TP said, Jackson State would have won the SCG last year or the year before, BUT THINGS HAPPENED!!!!!

We finished 2nd in the East last year....we are just too embarrassed to say it. It was hard for me to even write that.

History IS just that. What y'all accomplished in 1967 don't mean ish toward the 2002 season, now does it?

How long was Alcrumb in the SWAC before they won their first football title?????

Alcorn joined the SWAC in 1962, they were co-champion in b-ball along with gSU during the 1965-66 season.;)

We just accomplished something this year dumb arse!!!!!!!!!!The tradition continues....................What has Annie Mae done lately? Besides losing in the Swac Tourney? We even finished higher than you in the SWAC east in football this year. Answer what? You still haven't answered my question. You mentioned football in the past 5 years, so I brought up the fact that you took the "L" this past year. Since you always criticizing people about bringing up the past, the 0-11 is the past. You all beat us three years straight, true enough. We beat you all last year. Neither one of our school won the SWAC championships those years mentioned. But we have championships! What do you have? I'm glad y'all have won past SWAC championships and have a history in this conference. But as far as us and OUR brief stint in the SWAC, that so called "tradition" hadn't proved to be worth a dayum...at least not in THIS case. :D
