The coach we ran out is currently 2-2 at his program. Now, I understand those two wins are against teams that are for the most part sub-par, but that coach inherited a team that only has 30 scholarships. It will be interesting to see what becomes of the rest of this season with both coaches.

Well, I'm guess the old coach is installing a new system at the school he is at too, but he is .500 on the season so far. I sho' wish my school was .500 so far at this point instead of .200.

I am on record in the HOG saying that this move could have James Bell like implications. But I pray that doesn't happen. Things are different now compared to the last time DW was at GSU.

Did james Bell ever win 6 games in a row or go to the SCG?
Its amazing how mad you got at Doug just cause he cut off your free tickets.

He wasnt challenging shcit...that ***** panicked. I tried to tell him to give the guy a chance and that Doug didnt forget how to coach...but he was crying like a little baby. I mean every day...thread after thread after thread.....like a lil beyotch.

Too bad he cant enjoy the SCG

I hope he likes a little salt on his CROW.
 
This is what GR said back on October 6th:

Doug didn't forget how to coach. Broadway didn't leave him any players. Broadway left that program in bad shape. That's part if the reason he was so ready to get the hell out. He couldn't get to the SCG with his own players. I don't understand why yall are so quick to throw Doug under the bus. It sounds more personal than professional. The guy hasn't had a chance to recruit one player to make up for Broadway sitting on his ass for 4 years.

Look at what the Alums did to Eddie
Now look at how these alums have treated Doug

But to attack his coaching was flat out wrong man, it was flat out wrong and you owe him a public apology for all the dirt you dished.
 
Has anybody seen SameOleLightskinneded. His new name is GingerWhite. SameOleGinger couldn't wait to stab a darkskinned brother in the back. Can anyone find him and have him tell us how he feels bout AshyDoug now? Is he going to Bham this weekend? Come on SOGinger ...we wanna know.
 
I swear to y'all this is my first time seeing this thread. Had no idea it existed until now. I am flattered by the attention GR. Thanks bruh! :tup:

Now I know what those cryptic ass text messages that I received over the past week were about.

Many of you probably know by now that Doug can be one stubborn ass SOB. People like me, GUD, stroke and others who actually place Grambling OVER Doug felt it was up to us to save the Greatness that is Grambling from Doug's ego. GSU football could not afford another week of excuses like, "I just got here in March" or "These kids are not mine" or "They didn't even send my players comp tickets". You see, SOGgy knows DW reads this board. He won't admit it (and he shouldn't) but it does. And it was my duty to my alma mater that I utilized this platform to help Doug get through his stubborn ways.

It brings a tear to my eye to know that I was able help Doug through his ego problem and help him steer the G-MEN on the right path before it was too late.

To my alumni brothers GUD and stroke,

I know we as "They-sayers" had to take more than our fair share of verbal abuse from the "Doug Lovers". But we had to do what needed to be done for those kids and for the benefit of the greatest university in the history of the universe. Your voices of displeasure for the fight against mediocrity played a role in the G-men getting those 6 straight wins. Doug will probably never give us credit for this turnaround, but at least we can sleep better knowing we made a difference.

I say Doug oughta give SOG one of the Championship Rings... If the "yeah-sayers" get rings the Head "they sayer" should get one too. SOG is the catalyst for the win streak!
