Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting a brand new church in Lake City, GA. To help dedicate the church, there were several singing groups from different congregations there. Before the singing began, prepackaged food plates was set aside for everyone to eat in the fellowship hall. While I was in a very long line to get my food, a woman walked out of the fellowship hall obviously mad about something. The only thing I remember that came out of her mouth was "the rice needs some sugar." :xeye: Then she proceed to complain some more as she walked back to the main section and she said loudly "ain't nothing but a bunch of b*tches." Now, none of us are perfect, but there is a time and a place for everything. I latered learned that this woman was trying to get a couple of food plates for her kids, but one of the servers was trying to tell her that her kids had to be with her (obviously since the fellowship hall was the only place food was allowed). This is the same woman that was standing up holding her hand up every chance she got during service.

Funny, i have a strong feeling God is saying the same thing about folks twisting and manipulating The Word...

Yeah, I'm sure God does.
That's why it's so important to have a personal relationship with God YOURSELF, so you can gather your own interpretations.

My faith is that Jesus was the Son of God sent to save us from our sins. (Christian)

I am an Active/Current Bible Student and Teacher. (Trying to do REAL Study of the Word in order to show myself approved)

I was raised Catholic, graduated from a Methodist college, my second mother is a Jehovah's Witness, i was married in an AME church, i was a frequent visitor to a very active SDA church with my neighbor is VERY Adventist (she and i had the best discussions), i have attended numerous Baptist and Pentacostal Bible studies, many of the children i grew up with were Jewish (some Kosher, others not), i've had many direct and indirect experiences with Santeria, Vodun, Sango, Obeah, i've read and reread Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching many times, and those are the main points.
