This ni@@a can post bull**** about a show that's been on for ages where all MOFO's do is fugg each other then get revenge but no MOFO goes to jail or dies...they just live on...

At Nicholls, we set our schedule around it too...but I go back to when Nikki was a stripper. That's when I started watching...before she married Victor. Good thing about it in Louisiana...well at least in the south, it came on two times a day. 11 and 4.

Shid SOGGY, I go back even farther than college. My Mom watched the Y&R when I was a kid so I would watch it with her. Especially to see the love scenes. LOL. I remember the show when the Brooks family were the Abbotts and when Victor first came around and had his first wife Julia locked up in the cellar because she was trying to leave him. LOL. Back then there was no VCR.

I remember Nikki being a stripper. Back then ole David Hasselhoff was on there as Dr. Snapper Foster......Jill Abbott's brother.
 
And I thought I was bad with my addiction to Days of Our Lives and Dallas.

ok, back to the thread topic....:smh:

Y&R has been watched by every immediate family member I have, since the beginning of time. I grew up, on this show...:D That's why I can watch ONE episode today, and still catch on to what's been happening...but, here lately, I've noticed that they have a lot of new characters.
 
Yall with digital cable, Y&R is now on the Soap Opera network. So if you missed it that day. You can watch it at night on there. And watch the whole week on the weekend.

I might need to go back to the Soap. I aint seen it since Olivia's boy was a youngun.

Here, do this. It takes less time and she gives recaps of the upcoming show the day before it airs. Her recaps are good, so I don't VCR as much anymore.

Victor is the man in the business world, but behind Jack Bauer and George Kennedy, who played Victor's father when Victor finally went to see him, on the overall list. George was a mean, mean, mean old cuss. He even got to Victor. That was a Classic story line - one for the ages.

JR, this is between me & SOG, leave my American Idol out of this, I didn't bring up you watching The Gilmore Girls, so stay out of it.

For the record, I was a huge Y&R fan back in the day. I remember Nikki being a stripper, Kathering being an alcoholic, with Jill being her maid, and stealing her husband, and when Brad was a Pool Boy, that ended up sticking Jill, and then becoming a big time exec for Jabot.

I also remember when Crickett was a summer model before becoming a lawyer, and Druscilla being the Abbot's maid (can't believe I forgot her name) gangsta niece.

Man, I could go on about Y&R, but why?

Can you say "Dru's Revenge?"

I'd bet that Sharon sees Dru is bombed out and asks her wants wrong; Dru tells her about Neil not being Lilly's pop because she just "needs to share it with someone because of the weight of it all," and tells her about Phyllis' involvement in it; Sharon gets livid and tells Dru about Nick and Phyllis; Dru finds out Phyllis is pregant, puts two and two together and tells everybody before Phyllis ready or tells the other one that he is the father after Phyllis has told the first one that he is. That my kinda obvious prediction of what is going to happen. Given the sometimes predictability of TV, I wouldn't be surprised at all if some kind of variation of this storyline takes place next.
