It was brought to the attention of the board that The folks from Louisiana have been lying about the pay-out for the Buy You a Classic all this time. They were lying, all of them knew they were lying and all of them stood behind a damn lie.
GR was really disappointed to learn that Kenn Stood behind this lie for so long. Why? Who really cares? But year after year after year, we had to hear about the millions NBC paid for the honor to broadcast this game. It turns out that NBC does not invest one single damn dime in the game. Gram and SU BEG NBC to broadcast the game every year.
The proof was in the pudding as this dog and pony show was shown up for what it really is. NBC had sideline reporters interview the coaches during the 4th quarter of the game....during play...no respect. Thats something no media would do at any time....not even on pop warner level. But since they are paying NBC to broadcast the game, hell, why not experiment with their dumb asses.
Broadway wasnt use to no mess like that....But Pete was. It was a shame...one of the worst moments in black college sports history....(except for the time SUs band beat up PVs women).

Comegy calls out SU in the print media. Being that Comegy aint from around these parts, he didnt know you werent suppose to speak the truth against that dungeon of a school that floats off the Miss River. Paraphrased, Comegy said that SU encourages a hostile enviroment that promotes the shootings that happen around the games every year. The game environment is not conducive to a family atomsphere. Many of the JSU folks would not be bringing their families to support the team.
Comegy should have followed up that statement with "water is wet and fire is hot." All he did was tell the damn truth. Can you believe that the SU folks had the nerve to get upset about saying that SU is a hostile environment?
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT....Even their light skinned president got on the news and denied that SU promotes thuggery. Is their one among you with honor? Be who you are. Dont deny it....IT IS WHAT IT IS....You are who you are. You cant convince anyone of anything different no matter how many news stories you run.
At any rate, that garbage ass commissioner (who GR has a real problem with) had the nerve to take time out of his busy schedule to reprimand Comegy for making a statement that rolls of the tongue of EVERY coach in the country. Its just a cliche. Its not like that piece of garbage ass Comm didnt have other things to do. ....cause of course everything in the SWAC works like clockwork. If GR sees that guy on the streets, somebody gonna have a well whipped ass. GR is from the bottoms of Vicksburg MS....GR from the Streets, so you know it aint gone be me. Ima kick Rudy Washingtons ass too....GR owe him. Piece of garbage.

SU once again Leads HBCU's in Drafted Baseball players with 3. SU's Baron Short was the first HBCU player drafted going in the 7th round to the Los Angeles Angels. Roydrick Merritt and Jeffrey McCollum were the other Jags drafted.
