The Walking Dead Mid-Season Premier

That episode was ridiculously good. I have to watch it again. With that buildup, something else better happen throughout the rest of this season.

Freaking Awesome. Why did that little boy freak out at the worse possible time. Poor mom had no choice but to take that L with him. Also, that Asian cat got 99 lives. That mofo will never die.

That whole family had to go, IMO. They were nothing but liabilities to Rick and camp. And Glenn does have 99 lives.

I wonder how they're going to bring the Wolves back into Alexandria.

I agree, even Baby Judith was quiet during their walk within the Walkers despite having a bloody cloth over her face. Jessie was starting to become a good character, but her sons were some head cases. Ron wasn't going to let it go that Rick killed his father despite all of the abuse he and his family suffered and the fact that he killed Deanna's husband. Sam just stood 0 chance in this world because he was too full of fear and had too many issues to get over. I thought that maybe they were going to give Jessie a chance, but I forgot that her storyline was very similar to Carol, especially if she survived after watching Sam die. Only way Jessie was going to live was if the show had decided to kill off Carol. Carol is one of their best characters, and they're probably going to hold on to her for a while.

It was too much for him to handle at one time. He was being strong at first, but as they got deeper into the walker herd and it started to become dark, he just lost it. I still say Jessie should have taken Sam and gone with Gabriel and Baby Judith. She should have known that it was too much for her sheltered son to handle. The fact that Rick trusted that Gabriel was going to be brave enough to take his precious infant and keep her safe says a lot, and probably will change everyone's opinion about Gabriel.

For some reason, I also thought that Jessie was going to be a distraction to Rick.

I still don't see how Glenn survived when that dude killed himself and they both fell of that trash can. No way in hell should have survived. I dropped a few tears because I thought he was done.

At some point, Glenn is going to run out of lives.

That was one of the best episodes!!!!!

I am pissed because they have not received the Oscar recognition like they rightfully deserve!!!!

When Rick went out that door with the hatchet I screamed...."he'sssssssssssssssssssssssss backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk"

Glen got 999999999999999999 lives!!!!

I'm having a hard time choosing who Rick's ride-or-die friend is. Michonne and Carol are both willing to put it all on the line to protect the group and Rick's kids.

If he did, it would have been his fault anyway. I am pretty sure there were some steps in that alleyway they could have climbed up to get on the roof of the building that Enid threw the water down to Glenn from. Also they showed how there was a window that they both could have easily jumped through like Enid did. lol

Both are... Michonne is probably more influential than Carol. Michonne can check Rick, and he'd be willing to be checked by her. Carol, on the other hand, ruined that when she killed those people at the prison. There's still something unreconciled there between she and Rick.

Michonne hands down. To be honest Rick and the group needs her more than she needs them. She is one of the few that can survive on her own with no help.

Remember he welcomed her back to the group and said all was forgiven when they reunited after they escaped from Terminus unharmed. Rick will never forget the fact that she saved them from Terminus and took care of his baby that he thought was dead. Carol learned her lesson, and every decision she makes she runs it by Rick first instead of just acting. See with Michonne you might have a chance at living and walking away if you mess with the group, but Carol will straight up kill you without even blinking. lol

Well Rick done tap that tail now!!!! Man did yall see her on Talking Dead.....she is fucking fine and has the prettiest black skin!!!!! I really want to see her strut in some heels!!!!

I think this past episode wanted to remove any doubt on speculations and introduce significant characters. The Jesus character is a pseudo ninja type. I think he may be related to the lady who was running Alexandria. They have the same last name.

You are right about that...I'd forgotten about that conversation. But, Michonne is definitely that ride-or-die now.

I am glad they finally made it happened. I got tired of the buildup to it. I wonder how this impacts the group (good/bad)? Specifically Carl.

Carl doesn't seem to care too much about who his dad sleeps with since he didn't seem to have any issues with Jessie. The bigger issue is how this is going to affect the group dynamic. Will Rick suddenly be trying to keep Michonne away from danger now that she's his love thang? Also, will Michonne survive the Rick curse? I mean Lori died during a painful C-section birth with no anesthesia, got shot in the head by Carl to stop her from turning, got completely devoured by a walker, then got cut out of the walker's stomach before finally being buried. Jessie watched her young son get eaten before getting eaten herself, then also had her hand chopped off. If I'm Michonne, I'm steering clear of hooking up with Rick. lol

Rick mucked up a whole truck of food and supplies messing around with that cat. I still don't understand why they didn't go back home once the truck was discovered.

That's what I was wondering.

Actually this episode was directed by the director of "Fear the Walking Dead." I noticed similarities in which the story lines are told. There was less action and more character dialogue. There were not many zombie surprises. Moreover, this episode created a few new story lines such as:

1. The Rick/Michone hook up finally.
2. Michone and Carl growing much closer. Truth be told they got close when they were on a run together and he got her some fruit loops or something.
3. The guy killing his mom to make her at peace. He will have a bigger role as time goes on.

What I like is the separation from the comic book. This story is so much different with a few similarities. Right now in the comic books from the Farm is Rick, Carl, and Hershel. Rick has only one hand.

Right! This will be interesting...looking forward to what comes of this.

I was thinking the same thing. Take the truck home...it should have been enough food and supplies on that truck.

I like the fact that they're deviating from the comics, too. It adds to the show, IMO.

I should have known that they weren't going to kill Abraham like they did in the comics. Have to question why Rick allowed the only doctor in town to go out exploring knowing that there was an impending threat from the Saviors out there? And Morgan has shaken Carol's spirit so much that she needs a break from the group.
