The Salt-N-Pepa Show???...

Pepa is ole skool TRAMP. (whacha call me?)
:D

With her ole COUGAR ass. (I love you Pepa)
Where Spin at?

I watched it, well half of it (up to the point where Pepa brought the man on stage during practice). Did anyone else watch it?

It was alright, weird seeing this side of Salt don't really know what to make of her. I didn't realize she was bulimic when she was performing with the group.

I feel her saying she needs to feel comfortable with what she's doing but from the part I saw she seems like she needs alot of attention.

Now Pepa, she is ghetto and off da chain!! LMAO It's amazing how totally opposite their lives are!

I'll finish watching the rest of the episode one night this week.

I saw it last night. i was cracking up when Pepa was performing in the church and Salt pulled her up when she starting grinding. :lmao: :lmao:

I turned it off within 15 minutes. It was chaotic at first. One of them talking about they didn't want to be apart of the group....I was like- well what is this show about then. I'll watch the rerun later.

I, too, had my mouth turned up until I realized that it might actually be pretty interesting to watch how they try to make it work. I think we can see that Pepa hasn?t grown up or matured in any way. But Salt needs to also understand that you can?t just ?make? someone see your point of view if they don?t understand it at all, especially when it comes to spirituality. Pepa truly didn?t think that getting on her knees and rolling her head between ol boys legs simulated her giving him -----. So what does that tell you? She said, ?I didn?t have my face in his crouch, I started at the knee and just made my way up and I was just moving, that?s all??

but I think because I?m in the same generation, I can see how their choices and lifestyles mirror those like us who grew up with them. Salt is a mom trying to raise her family with a normal, spiritual life. Pepa still hot between the legs and really ain?t trying to grow up and be responsible and held accountable even though she 40 years or thereabouts.

Cosign. Salt conjures up drama/confusion because she secretly craves attention. Why sign up to do a reality show if you're so satisfied with your new life and current piety?

LOL, Pepa is a mess though. She really needs to grow up. She acts as though it's 1987.

I didn't like how Salt wanted Pepa to just conform to her every wish...I mean, it should have been give or take. Why can't she allow Pep to be Pep?

Didn't know she was bullemic either.

I was feeling like that as well, however when it comes to a person's spirituality I can kind of understand them not wanting to "bend" at all. It's hard enough walking a straight line so setting boundaries/guidelines/rules/etc. is necessary. LOL (shame I can say but can't do it LMAO).

But back to what someone else said, if she needs all those guidelines then she shouldn't do it!! LMAO

That's why she should have never agreed to come back and perform. If it's soooooooo against what she believes, she should have just left it at that and been done with it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nonetheless, it makes for good t.v. I think this will actually be a pretty good show. I'll tune in.

Yeah, I hope they can accept each other for who they are and reconcile their differences. Both seems to have a good head on (I know even Pep...heck she already has a gig set up...lol)...hopefully nothing but positive can come out of this. Don't want to see the sista gurl break-up.

Salt sounds like she is full of schit.

She has had a change that improved her personal life. She doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize it. I love how her prayer sisters were in support of her.

Side note: never had "What a Man" (the gospel version) performed at my church.
