I support Harold Jackson but if the university did decide to go in another direction after this year then I wouldn't mind Shannon, especially as our next OC. I'm not sure about his head coaching abilities. Sometimes people are better position coaches and coordinators than HC"s. Shannon could ride it out for ATLEAST 5 years minimum until he fully retire at jsu, but Harold Jackson only needed an experienced defensive coordinator that knows how to make adjustments no matter what's there base philosophy and depth at both offense and defense of line, on top of Ivy getting better or a strong second string QB and we will be fine at jsu. Honestly it's hard to just outright have loosing season"s at jsu unless you really can't coach !!! Ex... (James Bell).... Harold Jackson went 5-7 his first year which is ok, not bad, but if he goes below that his second year then I can see where some might be coming from but anything better than 5-7, I'm ok with as long as they show competition. But the jsu vs TxSU game should be exciting considering you have the old school run n shoot vs the new school run n shoot.

However, Shannon at TxSo makes sense. Asberry learned from Shannon. It will be interesting to see how they work together. The biggest difference in their offense is that Shannon likes to use a FB while Asberry likes to use a TE.
