THE Logical ONE
This is simple. However for all of you who did not pass second grade, leave this to the smart people. (bluedog, don't try this because a fuse in that little brain of yours might blow....we know that you are still working on spelling)
I must first make a disclaimer that this formula does work work beyond the rebuilding phase and therefore no parameter is yet determined to calculate success beyond 2005. And even in 2005, this calculation might only give you the minimum wins since this is no longer a rebuilding time in Jackson and the previous schedule was tougher than the sissy schedule the SWAC gave us.
Bell's program is simple....all you have to do is be able to multiply by 2 and you will see that it is seemingly unavoidable that Bell leads JSU to AT LEAST 8 wins in 2005.
The Chronicles.
1-9....multiply the 1 by 2 and that gives you the number of wins he had his first year at JSU (2).
2-10......multiply the 2 by 2 and that gives you the number of wins Bell had his second year at JSU (4).
4-7.....multiply the 4 by 2 and that gives you the number of wins that Bell will have in his third season at JSU (8). However since we have an easier schedule like the type played by SU and AAMU, that "4" and "2" may need to be normalized to give the correct value for the 2005 season which would logically give you more than 8 wins.
You need to call Vegas now!!!
