It would be almost impossible for a group of men to pass a story along amongst themselves without it changing, including scriptures.?have you ever played that game where you form a circle of people, whisper something in someone's ear and work your way around the room?
?notice how differently the end product differs from the original?

It would be almost impossible for a group of men to pass a story along amongst themselves without it changing, including scriptures.
But II Timothy 3:16 (basically) says that WITH GOD, those same men can be told something and pass it along and by the time it gets written down, it's still from God. With God, that is very possible.
Without God you get one result (impossible). With Him, you get a different result (very possible).
1. God knew who to pick to write down His Word.
2. God knew who to pick to translate His Word.
As a matter of fact, God is soooooo wise that......
if He wanted someone to write down the number 1,
but knew that the imperfect man would mess up and write down the number 2 instead,
He may just tell them to write down the number 2 initially knowing that the man would write down the number 1 accidently - which is what God wanted in the first place.
Did you get that?
...you either believe God's Word, or you don't.
Just remember that you're betting eternity on it.
The bible & koran have two very different belief systems.
Nope. Re-read post. II Timothy 3:16 = all scriptures is God Breathed....From God's mouth to the bible's pages, it never lost perfection. Why??? How??? Because God knows the beginning - from the end. All things work together for the good of those who love God.....meaning....So what you're saying (or what you think Timothy is saying) is that if something conflicts, if one bit of information contradicts the other, if a piece of information is imperfect in its inaccuracy it is possible that it came from God, the Perfect Being?
Is that what you are saying?
Man = naturalWithout God you get one result (impossible). With Him, you get a different result (very possible).
Huh??
God will break things down and let you understand all of your HUHs??? if you ask Him.HUH???
What part? All of it? Do you think some was distorted from the 'circle' effect you posted above, when it was passed down? What do you believe God's Word is?I do believe God's Word
All the more reason to get saved. No, I'm not; Muslims are not allowed to bet

IF man were going to write something wrong in the bible, God knew it before hand, and planned for it.
IF man were going to tell a story wrong to the next generation, God knew it before hand, and planned for it.
How did He plan for it? Who cares. I just believe the planned worked, and we have the truth today because of it (the bible).
That means, whatever God told man to write down as scripture, regardless of who wrote it, how many times they wrote, how many different stories they heard about it before they wrote, God STILL knew what the finished bible would say that we have today. He planned it.
