The Jackson 5 will reunite for a tour in 2008, Jermaine Jackson told the BBC on Monday.

It will be the group's first tour in since 1984.

"We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public," Jermaine told the BBC.

Shid, I would pay big money to see that. Last time all was on stage was for the benefit in NY after 911 and they rocked the house. Aint no way I miss seeing them all live again if they go on tour.
 



WOW!!! I can only imagine what those ticket prices would go for. That's sho nuff history. I would definitely plan to go. I know one dayum thang....I wouldn't be falling out at the concert for being overly excited seeing them, like some folks we know. :smh:
 
You can tell whe singers are broke. They put away all the petty differences to get that cheddar. There a piece on 60 Minutes on Sunday about the Eagles. Don Henley and the other dude hate each other and you can tell but they trying to get paid.

Back to the J-5, Poppa Joe must be too happy.

I'm sure Joe is proud, but hopefully they are all able to get along.

I wouldn't pay $5 to see them potgut mofos. If they were in my front yard, I'd move to the back of the house.

Give me a "best of" anthology, and let them go sit their old arses down.

I'd pay a few hundred to go. This is classic... I can see me and my kid, Gar jamming to the music rat now. Hope they come close.
 
I would love to see what Marlon & Randy look like now. I saw Marlon at the TJMS show in New Orleans back in 2001. He was looking good then :ebrow:

You must didn't see them at the 911 tribute. Randy looked a little potgut but the rest looked okay. Even Tito done lost weight. Regardless them mofos sounded good as heck and I was like they need to do a tour. We know Mike aint pot gut and he can still sing. So its all good.
 
Obviously you two guys are new schoolers. LOL. MJ may be weird but unlike today's artists, I bet money the Jacksons would clean out a lot of these pretend musicians and performers. Oh well.

Outside of Prince. MJ was the best concert I have ever seen in person. Then EWF was next.

Wouldnt consider myself a new schooler.....just doesnt interest me NOW. Michael Jackson by himself would probably be a different story, but the Jackson 5 dont impress me...I like the childhood Jackson 5.... lost interest after their voices matured..... Like I said earlier I would rather see the Fugees reunite, I also love EWF... as far as live performances my favorite 3 were Notorious Big in 95, Whoodini in the 90s (cant remember what year) and Erika Badu in 00.
