The Head Coach Question....

I would say JSU but they dont have the sense to get a new coach they still stuck with JW.

This man...

C-leb,

That man got you the most wins you have had in like 40 years. He is a TSU football legend. He is the TSU version of Eddie Robinson. If he wins 6 games, he will get a raise.

They don't have the money either.
:( :(

But after the disaster of a season that jsue is about to have, I don't think JW will be around for long

TP, when you say TSU do you mean Tennessee State University? You know he did coach there also you know.

He went undefeated his first year at Tenn. State but digressed in those years after.

Standards are changing at Texas Southern Tigerpride. Average and mediocre are no longer acceptable. No longer will you see a man who was once a towel coordinator converted into a head coach or having a non-revenue sport such as golf lead our school as the most winningest program in school history. No sir, in Third Ward, the tides are turning; the administration graceously listens to it's booster clubs unlike....

The SWAC is on the clock son....

So you are saying that Orlando will carry you to an undefeated season?

Some coaches have to overcome challenges and produce...other coaches play JR high and D2 teams, lose to D2 teams and still get a raise. The fans of most schools are happy with 6 wins no matter who they are against. Other schools have meaningful winning traditions they are trying to uphold.

And other schools are too damn broke and don't have the good sense to get rid of a coach who had 61, 64, and 42 dropped on him in the same year and had to depend on Valley for the last 2 years. :(

Some schools have been in the dumps so long and have never ever won anything, until they are desparate for a 6 win season. So desparate they would pay a coach 130K to no only play D2 teams, but play the worse D2 teams they could find. When you are coaching for a bunch of Bamas your job is never in jeopardy. They dont know the difference between good or bad anyway.

And other schools have been in such a pathetic shape for all of this century, the ONLY thing they can do is relive the good ole days of the 1900's and ignore the current DK of their lowly "program". No wonder their awful coach is still the coach.

btw, having to resort to depending on a PV reject to save you is downright deplorable. I guess when you're as low and _ _ _ as some schools, you'll try anything.

When jsue bends over again for every team with a clue on offense, will JW be able to convince Culberson to give him another year AGAIN.

Just like Stoglin did!
:lol::lol:

If they win 6 games this year, Im sure they will name a street in Montgomery after him. It sould be called "Pimps Avenue"
