Having THE top team does not make your entire conference good. Most years, the SEC has 2 (maybe 3) really good teams. They rest just ride the coat tails (and RPI) of those 2 or 3.

If you say so. I could have swore Bama, Lsu, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri and Ole Miss finished top 25 at the end of last year. Somebody need to tell those pollsters TP said only 2 or 3 should be ranked. :lol: :emlaugh:

You might wanna read this article. It's not about being an SEC homer. NUMBERS DON'T LIE. It's fact.
"SEC's record in BCS bowl games to 17-10 (a final tally, given that the BCS era just ended). That's a .630 winning percentage, still the best BCS record among all the conferences. The only other leagues with winning records in BCS games are the Pac 12 (13-8, or a .620 winning percentage) and the Big East/American Conference (9-7, including Central Florida's win this season in the Fiesta Bowl). And the SEC won nine of the 16 national championships in the BCS era."

Mostly gets his azz kicked and goes home. takes more than one big win to make him an azz kicker. I remember when OU boasted one of the best offenses in college football twice......got manhandled by LSU and Florida. Stoops is .500 against the SEC after the win against Bama. with the only other 3 wins coming 01, 02, and 03. He needs to STFU.

That's cause you slow.. LOL Im just saying that once you get past the SEC Champ and pretty much the runner up... other good teams across the nation are just as good as them.. i.e. when Louisville and OSU took UF and BAMA to the woodshed, repectively.

Are you drinking cheap wine this early in the day? OU is 0-2 against the SEC in championship games during the BCS era and 1-3 overall (in contrast 5 teams from the SEC has won the 1 championship OU did or more). :lol: :emlaugh:

Look, nobody says the other teams in the nation can't beat the top SEC teams or any other SEC teams. We all know that. It's gonna happen SOMETIMES. What we're saying is since the BCS era.....overall the SEC has proven with the most wins against other top conferences year after year. you can't refute that. The SEC was down last year for sure. defenses were bad. historically though, not that way. NOW, we can erase everything since a new era has started, the playoff era. Watch OU drop after the first 6 weeks.
