Do you think that ESPN putting that disclaimer by SUs name was warranted or down low dirty and unnecessary? I dont think they should have done that. All publicity is good publicity, especially if its free, but did that take the shine off of SU being on his list.
Congrats to the guys Mom for putting SU on the finalist list however it goes. There was a top notch QB from Indiana a few years ago whose father went to Grambling. They did a special on his father and Coach EddieRobinson. His father was very instrumental in helping him pick his choice. The father, a doctor, went on and on about how he loved EddieRobinson, but I was thinking, why not throw Grambling a bone and at least list them if Grambling and EddieRobinson did so much for you when no other college wanted you. He ended up going to Kentucky and turned out to be a flop.
But good deal....good luck.
I agree it was distasteful but I expect that. In their mind we are inferior. But anyone who listened to Jaguar Journal Wednesday night knows the kid is serious about SU. His grandmothers 8 kids all went to SU. He stated that Alabama or no other big school can compete with the atmosphere or the feeling he gets when he is at a SU game. Or how the Human Jukebox gets him hype. He also it's no contest when it comes to the females.

I just was about to add that.. Doug was saying that Indiana or Kentucky would be better for him then Grambling, I wish he would have given that advice to another QB.I remember that....but the kicker was how he sought advice from Doug and Shack...amazing...Gram reached out to him but he had no interest as he played musical chairs..
same with the Texas A&M QB that just left..
If he choose SU they will throw him under the Bus.. I remember when Tony Blackshear picked Jackson State over Florida State, they mad him the dumbest kid in the State of Mississippi.
Okay!
Bigger is that he has given SU some PUB, probably better pub then we get from those thursday espnU games. Are you disputing what the kid himself said? Whether he picks SU or not. That kid and his family is alright with me. They have given SU every opportunity to be part of the process and kept us in the mix with his decision. I am sure he does feel SU's atmosphere is all that since he grew up in it.

 I wish you could have heard his interview with his mother and coach Wednesday on Jaguar Journal.........It was great and on point.
S.U. landed another 4 star recruit earlier this year (Chuck Baker) and I noticed a star disappeared. :smh:  :emlaugh: Cameron is a monster......It would be nice to have those 2 at WR for the next 3-4 years.......
Good Luck SU
Good!!!! Stick it to lSU sideways.Appreciate it. This would be huge. One thing we do know for sure, he ain't going to be playing in La unless it is at SU. Goes to show you how much SU was ingrained in him. The rest of his list is out of state. Looks like he wants to stick to LSU whether he picks us or Alabama who most think he will join Nick.
Tuned in now; pulling for the Jags
He picked SU so they are not going to air it, it seems...
Joking
