I watch a lot of Mark Dark for reviews of particular shows (BMF & Power series spin-offs), so when I saw that Reg had returned on The Chi, I was considering getting caught back up. I may do a binge watch if or whenever time permits, we'll see. #shrug

A few new characters brought on the show.

Everybody wants Reg gone....
 
Reg is about to be gone. I can write his demise right now. Emmitt's dad is mad, Poppa about to find out Reg deleted his dad, Nuck crazy butt is even mad, the Po Po is after him, Lynn Whitfield crazy butt will want to kill him because he shot Emmitt.

Then he will get shot and everyone will wonder who did it.

But the Po Po might pop him and put him in Jail and they kill off Nuck, then we won't know who killed him, but I would bet on the preacher man who is going to have to make a tough decision to off the guy he was trying to mentor. I say he will do it because he took the gun from his daughter and at some point will have to use it on Nuck.

Maaan I'm too invested in this 'used to be good' show
 
The preacher in this show is the exact reason I dipped from the church once I left home for college. This dude is the perfect example of every church I've ever been to, even when they tried to hide it. The acting gets tough to watch sometimes, but I still watch for some reason.

Nuck took out Poppa's dad for the preacher.
Alicia about to find out Nuck killed her son from Baccari.

I am too and they are coming back for another season next year.
 
Im always late BUT Im binge watching this show. Im on season 2 rn. Its good. Not as good as Snowfall (which I binge watched last year) in my opinion. The major difference is that Snowfall had several complex layers OR I was too slow to catch on. 🤣 Season 1 was confusing af to me. BUT I can follow the Chi pretty easily. Lots of characters but by the end of the season, the character development was good so it was easy to keep up with them. SO, I wont be back to this thread til Im caught up.. lol
