You know what .... I'm tired of this crap. That happen how many years ago and you guys can't get over it. You won't come to BR and really, no one gives a damn. Maybe you don't understand, but most over here don't care about Prairie View. But in this case, I do because everyone acts like Southern was sooo wrong in Beaumont.
Fact: Southern AND Prairie View fought on that field. I didn't see any PV member raising a white flag before it started.
Fact: Everyone remembers that PV had women in their band, but in that year, SO DID SOUTHERN! Why don't we continue or even start to convict Prairie View male band members for hitting Southern female band members. No, you didn't see that on the news, but it happened, but no one outside of Baton Rouge wants to hear that.
Fact: Southern did what they had to do after the fight and it was PV who played the next week after the conference suspended them, yet the Jukebox is the one the continues to be characterized for Beaumont.
Fact: Prairie View is the ONE that keeps this thing going on, along with the rest of these SWAC nut-swanging cronies on here while Southern has moved on and placed Prairie View where they need to be on our list of priorities ..... very LOW!

Not only that, PV band members (girls and guys) well away from where the fight started ran into the fight to get some licks in. Then when they got thier arse whooped they wanna cry about it.
A hypocrite is a disgusting thing. Male PV band members did hit the girls in Southerns band. PV rides the fact that a PV girl got hit by an SU male to get sympathy for losing the fight but out of the other side of thier mouth they don't want to face the fact that thier band did the same thing. The news just did not catch it (so I guess that makes it not real to them).
<br><br>I was always taught that fighting is wrong. I was also taught that the only thing worse that fighting is losing a fight.<br><br>Yall have a problem accepting stuff. PV, your band director should have kept you band off the field until it was you turn. Accept that. When he didn't, your band should not have started talking isht. Accept that. When Southern's band started to exit the field, your band should have had the decency to move out the way, Accept that. When the fight started, well SU vs PV, enough said, Southern will beat PV in damn near anything. Accept that. Guys in your band hit our girls and guys in our band hit yours, Accept that. Southern is that last band ANY BAND should want to fight with, you REALLY need to Accept that. Now it's over, accept that.
