Hormuz opening uncertain after new strike

A new strike hit a ship moving through the Strait of Hormuz, and negotiations to reopen the waterway ran into a dispute over fees, clouding the outlook for the vital energy corridor even as the Trump administration insisted that a deal was close.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in an interview Tuesday on CNBC that the U.S. and Iran could reach a deal by Wednesday to resolve the dispute in the strait, sending oil prices lower.

Earlier, the British navy’s marine-traffic monitoring agency, UKMTO, reported that a cargo vessel had been hit by an unknown projectile off the coast of Oman early Tuesday. UKMTO didn’t identify the ship or say who was responsible, but the incident provided a fresh reminder that commercial traffic remains vulnerable even as diplomats discuss reopening the route.

The Iranians are winning. Now we know why the orange devil has not responded to the above attack on American bases.

Exclusive-US has used 'virtually all' of its long-range precision missiles during Iran war, sources say

NEW YORK/WASHINGTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. Army has used up much of its stockpile of highly accurate long-range missiles during its five-month war with Iran, according to three people familiar with the data, raising concerns about the military's readiness for future conflicts.

The missiles are principally the Army's surface-to-surface weapons, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). The U.S. has used "virtually ‌all" of these weapons, according to two of the sources.

The degree to which the military is running out of ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles has not been previously reported.

The long-range munitions – which cost more than $1 million each – are ‌an important part of the military's arsenal, allowing accurate strikes from a safe distance. U.S.-supplied ATACMS have played a key role in the war in Ukraine, allowing Ukrainian forces to attack targets inside Russia. The PrSM is a newer, more advanced generation that will replace the ATACMS, which have a shorter range.

She sobered up long enough to remember her license was on the line.

Only uneducated functional illiterates believe Trump is doing a great job. He is being carried by millionaires and billionaires because they are getting richer. The average American is struggling but as long as racist MAGA think minorities are suffering they will cheer.

Dump and the multi-millionaire/ billionaire class has pulled off the single greatest caper in modern American history on the working class. In an agreed upon scheme with them, he would be allowed to plunder the treasury without consequence in exchange for awarding them with a huge tax cut, at the expense of medicaid, and by putting tariffs in place that would inflate the price of goods and services on consumers while at the same time allowing them to double dip off the scheme by putting in claims for huge tariff refund checks.

The rich done said to hell with double dipping, under Dump we're triple dipping. Two trillion plus tax cut for the top 10%, inflated prices on goods and services and 100 plus billion in tariff refund checks so far.

Class warfare is real that's why the rich love the uneducated.
