He surrendered to the Iranians! A deal worse than the Obama deal that he tore up!

Why the Iran deal is criticized and called surrender

“Let the oil flow,” President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday as he announced a deal with Iran to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Speaking in France on Monday, he said “the deal’s all signed,” adding that the vital waterway is expected to fully reopen by Friday.

But the agreement has quickly drawn backlash over its lack of detail, reported concessions to Tehran, and the decision to defer key nuclear issues to future talks. While some have welcomed the prospect of easing global energy disruption, critics say the memorandum of understanding (MOU) leaves core questions unresolved.

Under the framework as reported, the U.S. would lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports in exchange for reopening the strait, while more detailed negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program and sanctions relief are expected over the next 60 days. That structure has fueled concern the deal delivers immediate gains to Iran while postponing the most contentious issues.

The deal is also expected to apply across multiple fronts, including Lebanon, raising the prospect of limits on Israeli military operations against Hezbollah—something Israeli officials have rejected.

An interesting narrative is being bandied about whether one deal is worse than the other. It's not a matter of which is worse because Obama's deal was simply much better and will likely be looked at as exceptionally better once everything comes to conclusion with Dump's deal.

First, one is just a MOU at this point. The Iranians will extract more during the 60 day or more negotiating period before signing off on an actual deal.

Second, Obama needs to be given credit. What he got the Iranians to agree to was far and above what any president previous and post his presidency has been able to do.

Obama's Iran Nuclear Deal (2015) — Key Points

Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program and reduce uranium enrichment.

Iran allowed international inspections of its nuclear facilities.

Iran reduced the number of nuclear centrifuges it operated.

In return, the U.S., Europe, and the UN lifted many economic sanctions on Iran.

The goal was to make it much harder for Iran to develop a nuclear weapon.

It was multilateral effort involving some the world's most powerful nations.

The participating nations were the United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, and Germany. The European Union was also an important participant and coordinator.

The facade that was the superiority of the US military has been obliterated.

Trump threatens to pull unemployment benefits from all states for the first time in history

Donald Trump's administration is threatening to withdraw federal funding for unemployment assistance in all 50 states as part of the president's nationwide campaign against "fraud" in government spending.

In a letter to the governors of 53 states and territories, acting Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling warned that the federal government would use "every available tool" to combat "waste, fraud and abuse" within state-run unemployment insurance programs, including "withholding administrative funds from states" for the first time in history.

There is no single national program for unemployment support, though the federal government partners with state agencies to support temporary financial assistance to out-of-work Americans. Nearly 2 million people are currently receiving those benefits, while roughly 229,000 people are filing initial jobless claims every week, according to the Labor Department.

But most unemployed Americans face bureaucratic hurdles to receive those benefits. Most states provide roughly six months of payments to qualified Americans. Those programs are typically covered by individual states through state unemployment taxes paid by employers, but the federal government provides support for administrative costs.

Total and complete victory, that lie did not last long. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 How long will it be before agent orange goes crawling on his knees to the Iranians?

Iran announces Strait of Hormuz closure after US 'breach'

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said in a statement posted Saturday on Telegram that the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to vessel traffic, accusing the United States of violating the recently negotiated memorandum of understanding intended to end the U.S.-Iran war and restore maritime access through the strategic waterway.
