I hope the one praying realizes most if not all of those people assembled around that table likely worship a different god than he does.

The parts of the prayer appealing for wisdom, servant leadership, humbleness and restoration of faith were very much in order, but there is little evidence that crowd believes in God.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he plans to start selling a “gold card” visa with a potential pathway to U.S. citizenship for $5 million, seeking to have that new initiative replace a 35-year-old visa program for investors.

“I happen to think it’ll sell like crazy. It’s a market,” Trump said. “But we’ll know very soon.”

During the first meeting of his second-term Cabinet, Trump suggested that the new revenue generated from the program could be used to pay off the country’s debt.

“If we sell a million, that’s $5 trillion dollars,” he said. Of the demand from the business community to participate, he said “I think we will sell a lot because I think there’s really a thirst.”

News broke that the FAA had awarded a huge contract to Starlink earlier this week and--considering Elon Musk's current role--that set off plenty of alarm bells for anyone who thinks corruption is bad, especially since the government already had a contract with Verizon. As it turns out, that new Starlink contract is actually worth $2.4 billion, the Washington Post reports. While the FAA said on Wednesday that "no decisions have been made," two sources reportedly confirmed the plan to cancel the contract with Verizon.

Slim’s company, América Móvil, announced a massive $22 billion investment over the next three years to enhance its network, signaling a major strategic shift in Latin America’s telecommunications industry. The protest comes as the U.S. has been a critical ally for Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion just over three years ago. According to German-based think tank the Kiel Institute, the U.S. has spent just under $120 billion on Ukraine between early 2022 and December 2024. The Defense Department has put the total support for the war effort at nearly $183 billion, which includes military training in Europe and the replenishment of U.S. defense stockpiles.

Under the Biden administration, Zelensky was a close U.S. ally. Since taking office, however, Trump has called him a "dictator," falsely claimed Ukraine started the war, and without evidence said Zelensky is deeply unpopular in Ukraine.
 
This is why I have a problem with Trump supporters. There is no way anyone can think what he is doing is good. This man is pure evil. It will take decades to overcome this. The problem is America is to stupid to see it. He's going to hide the debt to make him look perfect and it will come sinking in on his way out. This is worst than Bush great recession coming.

President Trump has already shown that he does not like facts when it is not in his favor and thus he will change things up to make himself look good. At this rate it is going to take decades to fix what he has done and is planning to do.
